This honestly is exactly what I expected, though not from the RB I expected.
Considering we weren't even supposed to make the playoffs in the view of a lot of people let alone make the NFC Championship in what was supposed to be a rebuilding year, I'm very much at peace with this.

Can we just all agree at this point that Aaron Rodgers will likely be looked back on as a massive underachiever? Then Drew Brees is also.

Garappolo could throw for 50 yards in this game and win 45-0.

I wouldn’t call Rodgers an underachiever, he led a team to - and won - a Super Bowl. That alone should be career validation. I think Tom Brady’s success has just skewed our perspective on what a quarterback should be. Not every signal caller is going to win six Super Bowls or advance to nine of them. Not everyone can be “the GOAT.” Sometimes a guy goes to one or two championships, but that’s usually enough to justify a Hall of Fame career.

I guess my issue is with the "Rodgers is an all time top 5 QB" people. He's great, but he seems to get a pass while someone like Peyton Manning despite 2 rings, gets shat on for being a choker.

And look how many average or mediocre QBs have won the Super Bowl or how many great ones never did. It’s about leading them to the championship, though. We all acknowledge that Trent Dilfer, Jim McMahon, and Brad Johnson were sidecars on championship teams, that really any quarterback off the street could’ve won with those teams. But guys like Dan Marino in 1984 or Aaron Rodgers in 2010 led their team to Super Bowl appearances, because nothing short of a masterpiece performance week after week would have been enough.

And I don’t disagree with the take. I think Rodgers has a case as a top-10 quarterback in the Super Bowl era, but he’s well behind the likes of Brady, Montana, Manning, Brees, Elway, and Marino. He’s more on par with the likes of Steve Young and Troy Aikman - damn good, Hall of Fame quarterbacks but not in the conversation of greatest ever.
