First impressions count, and I'm glad they're taking the time rather than releasing an unfinished game. Also as a side benefit, creates a lot more space between the release of this and Vampire The Masquerade, both very interesting but also sprawling RPGs that are going to eat a ton of time, so seems like a good move.

I don't mind this news. There's a lot of great games coming in the upcoming months anyway and I'd rather them take their time to make sure it's as good as possible.

Delays suck as a fan, and I was definitely looking forward to checking out Cyberpunk, but I'd rather games be properly tested and polished than have to rely on updates.

This almost feels like some weird knock on effect.
-Animal Crossing gets delayed from 2019 to March 2020 -Final Fantasy is moved from March 2020 to April 2020 -Cyberpunk 2020 is rescheduled from April 2020 to September 2020.
Presumably there's some major game set for a fall release that will get bumped soon too.

And here I was thinking Final Fantasy 7 remake would be the only game I have to wait untill 2088 to play.
But seriously they do what they need to do to make sure this game is everything everyone hopes it to be with the immense hype.
This just means more time for RE3 remake.

All the big games don't want to compete with each other.

It's better for a game, especially something as anticipated as this, to be delayed for further beta testing and polishing than for it to be released like 2K20 was and have to scramble to get patches out afterward.

Let's hope that the people working on this don't have to deal with any more crunch.

At this rate it won’t be out until September 2077.

Yeah, this is okay. Now it gives me plenty of time with other games coming out around that time, like Last of Us 2, etc. Also, this saves E3 a little bit from the PlayStation news because now CD Projekt Red can have another segment during the Xbox presser...although, topping Keanu will be a tall order.
