Cool I thought Molina was great in Spey 2. Although maybe they can also have a Tom Holland universe Doc Ock who is actually a supervillain and not just a misguided scientist. At the very least, they could just say he took over Vulture's gang after Homecoming and made the Doc Ock arms out of that stolen alien tech.
Or maybe some kind of idea that would be...superior?

Honestly, my favorite version of Doc Ock has been Marvel's Spider-Man's on the PS4. Great mix of super villainy and tragic scientist.

Now if they bring back Willem Dafoe, I will absolutely lose my shit. They’re casting his confusingly large penis as one of Doc Ock’s tentacles. Never let it be said you can’t learn something new on FAN.

This might be mentioned already and I apologize if so.... but are they bringing back Kristen Dunst or Emma Stone?

I always assumed Von Trier used body doubles for those scenes because Dafoe and Charlotte Gainsborough didn't want to actually have sex on camera, or at least as director he didn't want to ask that of his actors. This suggests that at least Dafoe was willing to chump up and perform. Anyways, back to the third Spider-Man movie.

Much like Willem Dafoe's penis appearing in a real nude scene or not, all these multiverse additions to Spider-Man 3, the MCU edition, if they end up being true, sound like a big deal, but also come across as being totally unnecessary.
Please just give me something simple like J. Jonah Jameson reaches out to OsCorp to fund the development of Scorpion or Vincent D'Onofrio Kingpin hires Kraven the Hunter to eliminate Spider-Man.

Please just give me something simple like J. Jonah Jameson reaches out to OsCorp to fund the development of Scorpion or Vincent D'Onofrio Kingpin hires Kraven the Hunter to eliminate Spider-Man. Unnecessary? Maybe. But Spider-Verse was a huge deal for Sony. I don't know if this push for multiverse antics is coming solely from Sony when on the Feige-only side of the MCU WandaVision and Doctor Strange 2, and maybe even Ant-Man 3, are potentially also doing multiverse/alternate timeline stories. I think this studio push for multiverse superhero movies also misunderstands why ITSV was successful in the first place. Yes, the multiverse in ITSV was fun, but I don't know if that was the straw that stirred the drink. I think the legacy aspect of a superhero mantle, especially when a young Black/Latino man takes up the role of being a superhero (from a white, boomer predecessor, basically), was the major factor of the movie's success, as much as how different the animation style was from other animated fare, precisely because it looked very much like a superhero comic book. This wrong lesson learned, how I see it anyway, in terms of making more multiverse stories would be like looking at the success of Black Panther and, subsequently, thinking that more movies need magic vibranium technology in them.

Sony released a little trailer, in spanish. No new footage, but it was a montage of all three live-action Spider-Men's best bits from their movies, the teaser asked who was the audience's favourite Spider-Man, and said 'anything is possible in the Marvel Multiverse', the trailer was eventually pulled.

It could just be Marisa Tomei making walnut date loaf for two hours and I'd watch it.
