For the longest time I've not been able to stand Conor. He bought into his own bullshit and started being a heel instead of acting like one.
I gotta say, he looked focused and more like the old Conor McGregor tonight, and, while I'm not going to watch the post fight, hasn't acted like a horse's ass so far.

Handpicked opponent that’s a perfect style matchup turns out to be an easy fight. Crazy.

I think Khabib beat the dickhead out of Conor, he's being much more... subdued.

There is a reason why he was given Cowboy. It was a relatively easy fight for Conor that would still bring in money and would allow them to build him up for an even bigger fight.
No one expected it to be that easy though

LOL. Jorge will beat the piss out of that dude. I’m no fan of Masvidal and his schtick, but he’s physically just too big for Conor.

So, uh, I'm glad I had McGregor on my good Draftkings lineup. And my mom is sad because she likes Cowboy.

I doubt he fares well against Masvidal either but I like that he plans to stay at 170. He has nothing to really prove at Featherweight and he seems to have accepted that going up against Khabib again won't end well. Plus there's some good matchups at Welterweight that don't exactly require him to face Usman yet.

I don't think Conor fights Masvidal unless he gets insane money, because he doesn't want to and it's likely a L. But if he does, that fight is going to get unprecedented hype. I will say this about Conor, he knew how to get to the top and to use that as leverage to give himself options. He leveraged his popularity to get himself a boxing match that paid him money he'd never make from UFC payouts. And then he leveraged that to make more money in the octogon. Now he's got pretty much any fight he wants, including Pacquiao. So instead of being just a guy who is 3rd or 4th in welterweight rankings, he's a guy who makes his own card. There's a lot of guys who are dominant who are at the mercy of the UFC's matchmaking that haven't figured out what Conor has mastered.
