I hated it until the point Drew and Brock. Than everything got really good. The Edge return was an amazing moment even if the camera crew missed up a ton of it, IMO the biggest moment we had since Kofi becoming Champion.

I'm very grateful for the women's Rumble, because I'd feel rather cheated otherwise. Glad Drew won, that was a nice surprise at least. They really should have done the crappy Santina spot as just Santino in the Men's, the Brock half was so devoid of fun. And man, what a waste of both Morrisson and Kofi, I was all hype Jomo was going to try to get his Spot Monkey status back from Kofi, or that Kofi would need to secure his status in front of both Jomo and Brock- but, nah, both just unceremoniously dumped out like yesterday's refuse.

I loved it personally. The only things that sucked were Lee & Strowman getting eliminated which I hated & AJ’s injury. Proud of Drew’s performance great to see a British winner.

Yeah, the Lesnar stuff sucked. But it became apparent that it was all done to help insure Drew’s win got the proper reaction. It was the same thing with him eliminating Roman last.

It's kinda funny to me that people are praising the women's Rumble in contrast to the men's match.
The women's match, while fine from a technical standpoint, wasn't very memorable and the crowd sounded dead for most of the entrants and eliminations. Other than Bianca Belair nobody really shined and there wasn't a lot of story to the action. Liv/Lana and Mandy being saved by Otis was about it, and those things were done with by the midway point of the match.
Compare that to the men's Rumble, where the crowd was invested almost from start-to-finish. There was a lot of memorable moments, at least in my opinion, and several guys got their chances to shine (McIntyre, Keith Lee, Edge, Brock). There was also a lot of stories, big and small, told throughout the match. Yet some people are saying it's one of the worst Rumbles of all time.
I think it just demonstrates where wrestling is in 2020. It seems there's a vocal minority of fans who just want "good wrestlers having good matches" without any real storytelling involved. It's no wonder most of the roster isn't over.

The ending matters. There have been very good Rumbles with awful endings. This made a star, which is what the Rumble should do. Yeah, if 1999 RR had Steve Austin win it wouldve been a memorable too.

Checked out both Rumbles this morning and the men’s rumble may be my least favorite rumble of all time. The second half just wasn’t enough for me to make up for the first half. The women’s rumble was hurt for me by them sticking with the same old formula and giving the win to someone who didn’t need it instead of trying someone new. I was also kind of hoping that Kairi’s status as tag champ would provide her with a better showing in the Rumble than a 5 minute runtime with no eliminations.

It is like the Lesnar vs Daniel Bryan match, good second half but just plodding in the first half.
I appreciate building Brock to have McIntyre eliminate him, but it didn't have to be done in such a boring way.

Also I rather see Kofi thrown out early than some convoluted nonsense like him hoping on a pogo stick.

As someone who thought he could be much better than being typecast as a generic hoss heel, seeing Drew win on the momentum of getting his new character over was actually really cool.

I was afraid they'd go a route that would make me angry (Roman, Orton, some other former winner). Unfortunately they went with a "meh" winner, which is even worse.

I liked it whereas the winner of the Womens Rumble was all too predictable.

I don't think I said it earlier, I thought the whole thing with Brock went way too long but Brock himself was highly entertaining
His facial expressions after each entrant was fun

I liked it whereas the winner of the Womens Rumble was all too predictable. Was it? I thought Shayna was the consensus favourite to win.

He seemed to have a different reaction for every entrant

I thought the Brock part lasted too long. And he eliminated too many people. Their should have been more spots where people ALMOST get Brock out.
Brock should have started to run out of gas earlier. More people should have been in the ring when Drew kicked him out. I like Ricochet, but Kofi should have done the low blow that allowed Drew that shot.
The match did more to make Drew look like a big time player then his entire return out together. So that's one good thing.

I dont think the Brock idea is a bad plan especially to get someone over in theory
But when you make half of your roster, which is there week in and week out, look like total goobers to do it, and not job squad guys like legit dudes they've been treating like guys you SHOULD want to see every week like Rowan, Strowman, Keith Lee, Nakamura, Mysterio, Big E, KOFI, and Morrison, then it became a huge problem.
It was really terrible booking in a lot of cases. The end result was right, but too many dudes who WWE has said "These guys are awesome" looked like total idiots or losers, which is a detriment to their overall product for absolutely no reason other than the same Brock shit we've seen for almost 8 years now. And people are tired of it. And it's absolutely a reason WWE's lost a huge chunk of their fanbase. There are almost no new major stars they consistently book well, and the Rumble only emphasized that.

I thought it was fine. Even with the slow first half, it came across better overall than most of the Rumbles of the last decade ('18 aside). Maybe they could've cut the Brock portion down by like 3-4 competitors, and diversified it a bit more.
Having Edge's return and Drew winning made it memorable. Also, credit to the ending feeling full of star power. Probably helps that Orton, Edge and Drew are relatively big guys compared to normal.
