Since Sheamus been talking about the IC title I can see him getting a title shot. Would like to see Corbin in there as well. Probably best to throw like a 6 man Ladder match out there for the title Braun, Sheamus, Cesaro, Shinsuke, Corbin, and Ali Not wise when they're doing a ladder match on Takeover the night before. When has running back to back matches ever stopped them before?

I dunno why cause it's every year, but the sheer amount of part timers/over the hill guys on this card just bums me out. I have zero interest in this card outside Rhea/Charlotte and maybe Becky/Shayna.
Roman just asks for a world title shot. Goldberg is champ because...I have no idea why. Cena/Wyatt with no rhyme or reason and it's been done at Mania already. Taker, Edge, Orton... I don't wanna see this guys. So disappointing.
The talent at the WWE's disposal and this is what they want to do with it. My interest in watching Mania is at an all time low. Even in the years I gave up watching WWE, I always tuned into Mania.

Not wise when they're doing a ladder match on Takeover the night before. When has running back to back matches ever stopped them before? None but considering where they want to position NXT, itβd probably be better not to copy and paste it to the show the next day for marketability and all that.

I don't really see an issue with doing a ladder match on both shows. Hell, with Money in the Bank they have at least two of them in one night, doing two across separate shows should be fine. More excusable than NXT doing two cage matches in one night if nothing else.

I hear ya. Don't get me wrong, I loved seeing these guys back in the day and I'd never discredit what impact they had on the business. But with how hard these people work all year, only to be told to step aside for performers whose best days are behind them, that's gotta be demoralizing as hell for the full-time talent. Sure, you can say well, these older talents are proven draws and it makes everyone more money at the end of the day. But with that excuse, you're sacrificing long-term financial stability in the name of short-term profit. And it's not like I fault the older talent for taking another paycheck. I mean, shit, in their position, I'd likely do the same thing. But I do fault WWE for this. The last decade has relied on this model of putting older performers from more profitable periods in positions of prominence on the biggest card of the year, usually having them go over established who need the win in the eyes of the audience far more. It's really no wonder we're not getting a new boom period when you keep pushing the old guard as being far superior to the new guard. We HAVE talent on that roster that can and have piqued outsiders' interests, but they never gain enough momentum through booking to sustain it, and this overreliance on the past is a sizeable part of the problem. All I can say is that it might not be today, it might not be tomorrow, but one day, this is all going to come back to bite them in the ass. Hard.

Cena VS Wyatt will be the 12th Match to take place at Multiple WrestleManias. Cena will now join Triple H, The Rock, & The Undertaker as the only wrestlers to have multiple matches take place multiple times at WrestleMania. The Undertaker has competed in 3 matches that have taken place multiple times, which is the most.

Then, if you counted that, then this list would be longer because then you have to count Battle Royals or other multiple people matches where wrestlers were in the same match.

Lil' off thread, but I hope @ WrestleMania 40: we'll get The President of United States, Dwayne Johnson vs. The Guardian of Galaxy, Dave Bautista.

If the COVID 19 gets serious, they might make Wrestlemania like that Rock-Mankind match. www.youtube.com/watch?v=FN_B1mnrrR4Wrestlemania 36: Empty Arena Event, hosted by the Rock and Mick Foley!

If Tampa is bad, can they move it down the road to Orlando, Miami or AEW's territory, Jacksonville?

Also during the hype package, they mentioned it airing on the network.
Not sure if that had been finalized yet or not.

Could've condensed whatever Styles and the midcard belts are doing for a massive match, like at Mania 23.
Styles, Black, Andrade, Mysterio, Nakamura, Cesaro, Sheamus, and Hardy, and you chop 3 matches from the lineup. Then you run separated matches on TV, promoted in advance the week after WrestleMania.
