I bet Pesci doesn't come out of retirement for this one. Haha.
Although a super old Leo Getz sounds hilarious.

Not sure why they're making this. The definitive Lethal Weapon 5 already exists.

Richard Donner will be 90 in a few months. Hope he’s up for the task. Sweet Jesus I had zero idea how old he was........ I figured he was quite young when he was directing original Twilight Zone episodes, but still... Also, he hasn't directed a movie since 2006. Also also, SOME OF US ARE STILL WAITING FOR THE GOONIES 2 DANG IT.

That's gotta be close, I'm not a movie expert though... Manoel de Oliveira, died at 106, made movies from 1931 (tried to make one in 1927, it fell through) to 2013. Clint Eastwood is 89 and putting out movies regularly (don't know what he has coming up, but he just directed Richard Jewell)

Bingo. Still f***ing infuriating that his career never took a hit after everything. I wouldn’t say that. He’s largely been restricted to low profile productions or working behind the camera. Except for Daddy’s Home 2, I don’t think he’s been a prominent on screen part of a major studio film for quite some time. But yeah, I guess we’re watched a point where we’re going to pretend he isn’t a racist who made vague drunken threats to his ex about having her killed.

That's gotta be close, I'm not a movie expert though... There was a Portuguese director - Manoel de Oliveira, died in 2015 - who was an active director into his 100's. I believe he's the official oldest. Currently? Clint Eastwood will also be 90 in a few months and he's still very active as a director (much moreso than Donner)... Sidney Lumet (RIP) was very active into his 80's. There are probably several others, but Eastwood might be the most active high profile one.

Make it about LA's tainted tap water They'll have to buy My WUDDEEEERRRR! Anyhow, nah, LW4 was the perfect sendoff, it's a really bad idea to go back to the well for this. But Hollywood right now is a bad idea factory, so it doesn't surprise me.

It wasn't as fun as 1 or 2, but he was the villain in Expendables 3.

Relative to the topic, I absolutely love the Mel Gibson/ Danny Glover interaction in Maverick.

Unpopular opinion... I watched all the Lethal Weapon movies AND the TV Show and I preferred the TV Show.
I was gutted when Riggs left cause it was probably my favourite show on television at the time.

Then again, his movies were relatively easy affairs to direct, with LOOOOOOOOOOOOOTS of still shots and long drawn out conversations. He made very boring movies is what I'm saying.

We’re in a world where people are healthier and more active older on in life and still seen kinda shocked when someone pulls it off.
Eastwood is almost 90 and has been making really good movies even recently.
Gibson and Glover don’t look that much older than they did when they did the last movie... 22 years ago
