Scientists estimate that some time in late 2097, Hillbilly Jim will finally wrap up his HOF speech that began in 2018. There's still no estimate as to when Mr. T will stop talking about his mother. I still want to know what Doug Stanhope had to do with that speech.....There's a story there, hopefully he tells it one day.

No current high school student was alive at any point that WCW was in business. (additionally, they were also not alive when 9/11 happened).
The infamous Brian Kendrick & Paul London shoot interview that set the tone for the modern shoot interview turns 10 years old at the end of February. As much time will have passed between now and then as then and the 2000 Cornette shoot that gave us "Cornette Face" and set the tone for shoots of the aughts.

Matt and Jeff Hardy both had matches on WWF television before Rhea Ripley or Velveteen Dream were born. Candyfloss from NXT UK wasn't even alive when the Undertaker became American Bad Ass.

This March, Kenny Dykstra will still be 20 years old.
(He'll actually be 33, but still.)

That bit about 9/11 clicked in my head on 9/11 of last year when I glanced at one of those "You must have been born before this date to buy tobacco" signs in the gas station. Sent a cold chill down my spine when that clicked.

We're closer to Wrestlemania 50 than we are to Wrestlemania 20.

For a personal one, Eddie Guerrero was alive when I joined this forum I was 10 years old when John Cena made his debut and was 27 at the time of his most recent match a year ago.

As noted in the IC thread, the U.S. Championship has used the same design (with the exception of Cena's spinner variation) since its reintroduction as a WWE-branded title in 2003.
In that time we have seen:
- two redesigns of the Intercontinental Championship - the redesign of the WWE Championship - the creation and retirement of the Divas Championship - the creation and retirement of the ECW World Heavyweight Championship and its redesign as the ECW Championship - the retirement of the Women's Championship - the retirement of the Cruiserweight Championship - the retirement of the World Tag Team Championships - the retirement of the World Heavyweight Championship - the creation of the SmackDown Tag Team Championships - the creation of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and its redesign as the WWE Championship - the creation of the NXT Championship and its redesign - the creation of the NXT Women's Championship and its redesign - the creation of the NXT Tag Team Championship - the creation of the NXT North American Championship - the creation of the NXT United Kingdom Championship - the creation of the Universal Championship - the creation of the Women's Championship - the creation of the SmackDown Women's Championship - the creation of the Cruiserweight Championship and redesign as the NXT Cruiserweight Championship - the creation of the 24/7 Championship
It really feels like a relic from a past age.

MJF looked up to Adam Cole growing up. If that doesn't make you feel old I don't know what will.

The Rock has been retired damn near 2x longer than his actual career run time (96-04) is his full time run tho you can technically say 03 Easy to forget he stopped full time at 30 The Rock's run is even crazier when you look at how much he compacted into those 8 years. Pretty much it was like 1-2 console generations. Which is why I always had put him above Hogan and Austin Yes, their high was higher then Rock but if Rock actually stayed and continued to wrestle he would been even more insane. He rivaled Stone Cold in short time and imo he just had more overall appeal then Austin at least from the black point of view. Everybody can get with The Rock swag whether young or old. Austin beating up his boss was more adult but as a kid you just liked seeing him f*** people up

Yep I was born in 84 and turned 1 in 85 so the same year as Wrestlemania 1. That might come in handy as I get older. 36 this year yikes. I’m with you guys. 83 baby! I was was just figured out my wrestling anniversary which is Monday. Feb 3rd 1989 the Main Event was the first wrestling show I remember, that’s the night Savage turned on Hogan. I’ve must have been fan longer than that because I knew who Hogan, Savage and Liz were. Can’t believe it’s been 31 years. Not only am I also an '83 baby, but me and EC3 were born on the exact same day, March 18th. When I met him at an Impact show years ago, I told him that, and he said, "That's why you're cool." Haha.

At 46 years old, Edge is returning to the ring 2 years older than when Shawn Michaels retired at 44.
Between the time that Edge announced that he was forced to retire (April 11th, 2011) and when he returned (January 26th, 2020):
-CM Punk rose to the top, quit WWE and returned.
-Daniel Bryan rose to the top, retired from the WWE and returned.
-The Shield debuted. Roman Reigns took a sabbatical from WWE because of cancer and returned, Dean Ambrose left and Roman Reigns rose to the top.
-The Authority debuted and was done.
-Shane McMmahon returned and wrestled.
-Batista returned and wrestled.
And Shawn Michaels...just wrestled.

She officially signed with the company five months later, wrestled in FCW, NXT, and on the main roster, and announced her own retirement almost seven years to the day after Edge himself.

In an interview after the Rumble, Toni Storm recounted how when she was just a little girl she used to watch Kelly Kelly on tv.
That was a little bit of a weird one to realise.

Doubly so when you consider that Kelly is younger than about a third of the other participants in the Royal Rumble match, and only 1-2 years older than another third of them.

On a slightly related note, TNA/Impact has been around for almost 18 years, 5 years longer than WCW has existed(1988 to 2001). If you were born from the time John Cena made his debut(June 2002) to the time he won his first WWE championship(April 2005), you'd be a Freshman to Senior in High School by now.
