Undertaker has been back in the āDeadmanā persona for 16 years, 4 years longer than the first run of the gimmick (Nov 1990 - Sept 1999) and the American Bad Ass run (April 2000 - Nov 2003) combined

More time has passed since Shawn Michaels second WWE run(2002 to 2010) has ended then the run itself. In fact, when HBK had that ill-fated match at Crown Jewel in 2018, he's been out of the ring longer than he's been in it.
At 27 years and two months, Andre The Giant has been deceased longer than his entire wrestling career from 1968 to 1992.

Last night, Undertaker faced AJ Styles in a match.
Styles, who is in his 40s, was ten years old when Undertaker first started wrestling(pre-WWF I mean)

Such a horrifying amount of time passed in that Edge and Orton match that they actually started taping it the night after Edge retired and only finished last Thursday.

I stopped watching wrestling, and WWE more specifically, the night of the 2016 Royal Rumble. The following episode of Raw averaged 4,098,000 million viewers.
The last live Raw before a studio audience, before the pandemic caused WWE to move to the Performance Centre, averaged 2,163,000 viewers.
Over the last 4 years, WWE has lost almost half its regular, pre-pandemic audience.

A personal one for me: when the Montreal screwjob happened, I was in my first semester of Kindergarten. When Bret returned to the wwe and embraced hbk, I was a second semester senior in high school

It has been 7 years since Undertaker last Wrestled on Raw and Smackdown. I was at both these events with my 12 year old brother. He will be 20 this year and has no interest in wrestling at all now.
For the other competitors of those matches were The Shield, Kane and Daniel Bryan.
In that time:
Undertaker has lost twice at WrestleMania The Shield have all become Grand Slam Champions The Shield split up and then had a reunion. Dean Ambrose has left to be in a company founded with the help of Cody Rhodes Roman Reigns had a failed push and has an uncertain future in wrestling. Daniel Bryan retired, became a GM and eventually made a return. Kane has become a mayor.

Just stumbled across a video on youtube of a young Rock in the audience watching his dad Rocky Johnson(teaming with Tony Atlas) wrestle. It was on March 17th, 1984. 18 years later The Great One would wrestle Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemania X-8.
Wrestlemania X-8 is closer to back then than it is to now.

I think it would be cool if he had a fued with the Dream and can just use the line āIāve been in this company since before you were bornā

Bray and Elias are the two youngest (in terms of birthdate, not their age when they faced him) that he's wrestled since 2011 and they were both born in 1987.

Arn Anderson will be 147 this year.
Still looks like he did when he was 27.

Honestly all this thread convinced me is that absolutely nothing of significance happened in WWE from like 04 to now.
Also ROH and CZW have existed for way longer than both WCW and ECW

Maybe not always for the better, but I find the product unrecognizable from back then to now.
