A nice if uneventful way to sign off the season. Mercedes were âoffâ today, but you can forgive them for that after dominating all season. I do think that Hamilton came back too soon after testing positive for Covid, though. I get that heâs a racer and wants to win, but heâs got nothing to prove and nobody would have thought less of him if heâd stayed home. Only 96 days until it (hopefully) starts again! He genuinely could have just took the extra break, and not have to report for duty until testing next year

and ZERO surprise that lewis hamilton is utterly superior in F1 begs to think when he really retires who's gonna be the next champ in the sport ... or indeed signs that new contract?

Sergio Perez will remain in F1 for 2021, snagging the second Red Bull seat at the expense of the unlucky Alexander Albon. With Alpha Tauri signing Japanese F2 star Yuki Tsunoda to replace Daniil Kvyat, this leaves one available seat on the grid, which weirdly is at Mercedes because Lewis Hamilton hasnât officially re-signed yet. He almost certainly will, though.

Mercedes: Hamilton*, Bottas Red Bull: Verstappen, Perez McLaren: Ricciardo, Norris Aston Martin (fka Racing Point): Vettel, Stroll Alpine (fka Renault): Alonso, Ocon Ferrari: Leclerc, Sainz Alpha Tauri: Gasly, Tsunoda (R) Alfa Romeo: Raikkonen, Giovinazzi Haas: Schumacher (R), Mazepin (R) Williams: Russell, Latifi
(By the way, Mazepin is a total scumbag that shouldnât be in the sport except his team needs his old manâs Russia money, so watch for that to be the underlying story of the 2021 thread)

Whilst I'm happy to see Perez remain in F1. I am a little gutted for Albon.. Granted he didn't perform as well as many would have hoped in 2020, but I honestly believe he would have had a stronger 2021.
I dont know much about this Mazepin fellow but he seems to be like an R/L heel.
