Apparently doing a follow-up series to the Monday Night Wars one.
... What even is there to say about this period? "Look, Cena, Batista, Orton, and Lesnar got over big! ... all while our business cratered and a ton of other potential stars flamed out due to bad booking."

Finally something better than the Attitude Era. This is my favorite period in wrestling and I can’t wait to watch.

Having recently rewatched alot of this era it’s so much worse then the attitude era from a risqué & trying to be controversial standpoint. It’s really sad how desperate they came off.

Why.....Why the hell would they bother
I mean I understand that the attitude era has been milked dry but any era that includes Kenzo Suzuki vs Billy Gunn on PPV should be stricken from the record

Should be interesting. The Monday Night Wars and before are pretty well covered as far as documentaries and stuff go. It'll neat to see a doc series on something a little more recent.

I'm looking forward to it. Monday night War was a good series, and this looks to be a similar format.

Its like they were saying "See we're still the same WWE(please come back)."

Who was it that said this is where Vince kinda gave in and got complacent since he bought the competition?

I assume the cut-off point is 2008, since that's when they went PG.

To be honest, I'm not really interested in this given a few obvious reasons, such as how the quality went downhill. I know I said in the past I was partial to this era, but that applies to 2002-2003, and even then, there was a lot of crap that does not hold up well (the idea that Molly Holly is a bad person for not wanting to degrade herself, Katie Vick, Al Wilson), which goes into my #1 complaint about this era, which was the fact that women were treated as nothing more than slabs of meat for fans to beat off to. Sure, it was like that in the Attitude Era, but by the early 2000s, the social climate changed and the wave of edginess that permeated throughout the mid to late 1990s had all but been scrubbed clean (unless you were Jeff Zucker with NBC... *cough*Fear Factor*cough*), so this notion that women were nothing more than boner aids was pretty lame, and it was even worse if you watched SmackDown, where the women had no championship to fight for, meaning storylines revolved around who was the biggest skank (sorry, but when Torrie Wilson's entire WWE resume revolved around fighting over her Playboy credentials). Coupled with the Triple H "reign of terror" and the fact that countless wrestlers were brought in or brought up only to be cast off or given up on due to bad booking like the New Generation Era, as well as the retroactive issue that is Chris Benoit which negates a huge chunk of topic points from this time period... do you really want to talk about how "great" this period was?

I always thought Molly was a heel because her character looked down upon and judged the women who did the bikini shoots and Playboy. It wasn't "I'm not interested, but it's fine if you are." It was "Don't do that because I say you shouldn't."

Got it set to record.
In general WWE do amazing documentaries. So we shall see, because they’ve gone downhill since the Network but I think it should be interesting.

I don't look on this era fondly at all. Raw was the Triple H show with his boring long promos and boring long matches. Smackdown was the more enjoyable show but the decline from the attitude era had started and wrestling was no longer must see.
