Mets P Marcus Stroman opts out the season Gets enough time in to qualify for service time so he can be a free agent next season? That is f***ing awesome, after all the shit that teams have done to prospects to screw them over, it's nice to see a player turn it around on them. Agreed. Teams have been screwing players over for years with service time manipulation. Don't feel bad at all when it is the other way around. They'll offer Stroman the qualifying offer and he'll probably accept it. On that note, man, how bad has Brody been for the Mets? Kelenic, Dunn, Woods Richardson, and Kay traded in a span of six months for a few starts from Stroman, an imploding Edwin Diaz, and Robinson Cano in what is likely to be the worst years of his career. That 2019 Mets team with a better GM makes the playoffs, IMO. Now I'm not sure where they go from here.

Mets did a Knicks move They thought they could expedite the process in getting better and it bit them

F*** that coach Talking about he didn't say anything his moms but won't admit what he did say It's hilarious that a few years ago, they probably suspend Laureano like 10 or more games and the coach gets nothing. But with Jomboy and Twitter breaking down every clip of it, the masses were just ready to shit all over Manfred and company when they inevitably messed up the punishments. It feels like they got the suspensions right just so they wouldn't have to deal with the backlash like they did with the Stros all over again. Which tells you all you need to know about Manfred (and Goodell and Shanahan) on suspensions.

Laureano had a part to play and 6 games is reasonable but 20 is def what the Houston coach deserved More and more Houston shows how f***ed up they really are. Y'all hit this man 3 times this weekend (tho even he said he didn't think it was intentional) and have the audacity to talk shit. This is why MLB rallied behind Joe Kelly (giving him the benefit of not throwing at the head) because these dudes aren't learning

They gotta be sippin on that 'us against the world' mentality a little too hard. Like no one has told them "You're the bad guys in this story." He probably can get it down to 4 games in appeal. They just instigated him 4 times and that was enough.

Now teams are going to think you are intentionally hitting them to get ahead of it before they do and they not going to like that shit I hope they don't think this is a one year issue. As long as that core is together, they will keep dealing with this shit

Laureano was as patient as one man could be and they goaded him into reacting and everyone saw it. And then Cintron denies but doesn't clarify. They're just digging the hole bigger.

Nothing will change with the Astros unless you force Crane to sell the team, purge the entire front office, and have a fire sale for all the players. Maybe if Manfred wasn't a punk-ass coward about punishing the players responsible, but not even fines for them.

Even at DH he got injured The Giants dodged a couple bullets a few offseasons ago when they were hot on the trail of Stanton and Ohtani. Now instead of shitty with godawful injury contracts they’re just shitty. Lmao I did read some analysts say their #1 prospect Marco Luciano projects to potentially be the #1 prospect in all of baseball in the near future, so at least there’s something to look forward too.

Stupid Boone
How the f*** you take out Judge in the 6th inning when you only up 5 runs. This isn't a blowout

Me when the extra inning rule works in my team’s favor; I’ll allow it. I don’t love it, but sure.
Me when the extra inning rule hurts my team; FXXX EVERYTHING.
(I’m scenario A tonight)

It's one thing to feel antagonized, but to openly goad teams is inexcusable.
