Just makes me think of his absurdly racist restaurant dress code.  I can see how stupid it is that Hogan would ban bandanas (and okay, how stupid the WHOLE thing is), but what the hell is racist about this? |

Much of it is very specifically aimed at outfits popular with Black and Hispanic people, particularly at the time. Plain white shirts were big in rap at that point in time then you've got the baggy clothes, the jerseys, caps only being able to be worn forward, the jewelry, the bandanas... All very common fashion among minority demographics. Plenty of people who wouldn't have any of this applying to them of course, and you could always wear something else, but it's very calculated in a way to minimize the amount of minorities that would be able to just walk in unplanned and have a meal. |
