Looking at the past couple of pages of shirts. Is it me or is WWE putting absolutely zero effort into the designs.
Most of them look like they were knocked up by an intern five minutes before the day ended.

Hell, the most famous wrestling shirt in history is literally JUST some text in white Impact font. I can literally do that HERE right now using the forum’s own coding, look: Austin

3:16 Fair point, and simple is fine. And simple can work, with the right wrestler. Like Roddy Piper's "Hot Rod" But then there's there's just scrawling DIY in green and calling it a day. The best shirt designs for me have some actual effort going into them -- Punk's Best in the World and Cactus Jack's Wanted Poster. Eddie's Latino Heat Scarface shirt. APA's Always Pounding Ass. Cena's 8 Bit Shirt. |

There’s a fine line between a simple design, Hot Rod, Austin 3:16, Hulkamania are all simple designs and trying too hard to make it a simple design. Also, the shirt needs to look good and have a shelf life, Punk’s Best in the World is a good example. Sold a ton of those. Punk’s “ice cream bar” shirt looked like shit and no one cared, even though it came out during his “Summer of Punk” run and he finally became a top guy. |
