They made $37,000 off of about $10 per unit of junk you'd find in a $30 lootcrate, and a GIF. I wish I could have more "catastrophic failures" like that.

And they would have made much more than that if they just released the shirt for regular price. Put it up for $30, and you're selling thousands that first day.

John Cena was the face of the company for 2 decades and a crossover movie star,if his NFT bundle is only selling 37 copies means anyone else would probably only sell single digits if that. It's not so much as a catastrophic failure as kind of a confirmation their is no stream of revenue going if they try that again. On paper it looks like they got $37k for nothing, but they spent commercial spot time advertising their NFT,if that had ran a KFC,skittles,Popeyes etc spot in the place of Cena NFT a few times they would have pocketed more then 37,000$. And they probably had to pay Nintendo and Cena as well,so they might not have actually made any money

I can't really fault them for hopping on the bullshit NFT train as f***ing everyone else did, but yeah, they lost money on this whole thing. When you're talking about everything that goes into something like this (design, marketing, research, hosting the damn auction on the site), $37,000 is nothing. This is an absolute monstrosity and I love it! Looks like a MGS Codec call set to "Holiday"

Isn't this her old pre-Tian Sha T-shirt? The one that NXT produced around their USA debut.

This is an absolute monstrosity and I love it! I was just coming to see if you'd seen this yet lol I like McIntyre's. His name doesn't even fit properly lmao I see also they have three ornaments up so far-- Mankind, Kane's mask, and they're trying to pass off Eddie Guerrero's lowrider as 'new' even though I bought one of those last year lol. They also have Seth's Monday night Messiah ugly sweater up still so who knows, maybe I can get that one after all

They had 500 of them available, so we can tell that that $500,000 in revenue would be the goal of the project. Yeah, WWE definitely took a bath on it.

I like that WWEshop waited until I was offline watching Smackdown to email this because they knew how I"d react to it. Hell, it's an actual shirt
