Missed last night's episode but thank goodness for Discovery Go... which wants to run like ass today for whatever reason.
Well, Slap-Box was looking good while it lasted. Too bad Ray Billings had his back against the wall heading into the fight and chopped off everything he could. Still, I'm wondering if the aura is decaying on Tombstone at a faster speed than expected this season.
HOLY SHIT CRAIG DANBY MADE A DECENT RELIABLE BOT! Which, frankly, is more than can be said for Pain Train.
Wait, did they seriously just namedrop Bugglebots and Robogames?! Unfortunately for Tyler, Skorpios was a horrendous matchup for Perfect Phoenix and Zach Lytle had the perfect strategy to shut them down. Now you have two good bots in a tough spot heading into their next fight.
Madcatter really is massively improved from last season. Ribbot learned that first hand, along with learning why you sometimes should really leave the minibot alone.
So Gamma 9's strategy worked great until the forks got bent, both by the underside and the hammer of Chomp. Chomp itself is... better? The walking part is slow as f*** but it at least keeps the whole thing stable considering what the hammer used to do.
Well, that turned into a thing after SHATTER! and Malice killed each other's weapons. Guessing Malice ripping the hammer off was what swayed two of the judges because they seemed even otherwise.
End Game wasn't doing too bad, but that hit that sent Bloodsport flying f***ed up something on their internals (along with having issues with the detached wedgelets). Bloodsport looks to be a good threat to go far once the tourney starts.
