So a slap on the wrist

Even assuming the sentences are served concurrently, I don’t think ten and a half years is a slap on the wrist.

No sympy from me…I only wish she’d stay in there for life so we don’t have to worry about her getting behind a wheel or in front of a computer

Even assuming the sentences are served concurrently, I don’t think ten and a half years is a slap on the wrist. Besides early release and all that, after countless duis and killing a person, it's light.

A slap on the wrist would be like a year in jail and probation. This is serious prison time. And I'd be surprised if she got early release for good behavior considering, well, how she's acted the last 20 or so years. Unless she goes completely clean in prison.

It's better than a lot of people feared to be honest.

She'll be 67 when she gets out and on parole until she's 75, assuming she even lives that long given her history. I don't really see any point in being upset about how much she got because she'll be spending most of if not the entirety of her remaining life in prison.

Yea , considering her age and history 17yrs in prison is not what I would consider a slap on the wrist.
Hope she finally does clean up her act completely because now she has plenty of time to and that is if she lives to see her freedom.

She will get clean in prison (although there are doubtless ways to acquire booze if she has the cash) but her liver has probably been irreparably damaged so quite likely a life sentence.
I assume she’s been receiving small amounts of alcohol in jail to avoid a heart attack from sudden withdrawal.

Glad that she is going to be spending a significant amount of time in prison. She has had chance after chance after chance to make the changes needed to get her life back on the right track and time after time after time she's been unable to do so. Maybe years in prison is the best thing for her at this point, because nothing else has worked.

She'll be well past tappable age when she gets out, will be on probation until she's 75 and will spend the rest of her life knowing her legacy is almost at the level of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. She's pretty much persona non grata in the wrestling business; there's no coming back from this. I'd say it's fair enough. I can only hope the Usos and Jeff Hardy are taking notes.

Looks like it’s consecutive sentences, so yeah she’s in there for a good while. Sad to see but she made her own bed.

I assume she’s been receiving small amounts of alcohol in jail to avoid a heart attack from sudden withdrawal. I don't see her making it through the full sentence. She has a history of drug addiction, which likely will cause her to die in prison. I don't wish anything like this on anybody, but I can't imagine her making it to 60.

It's a Florida prison, known for having deplorable conditions like no AC, unsanitary conditions, etc.

It's a Florida prison, known for having deplorable conditions like no AC, unsanitary conditions, etc. I was gonna say a number of people in this thread are truly underselling how awful going to prison is. I don’t mean that in a “Poor Tammy is going to have a tough time”, she deserves every second of it. I mean prison is a goddamn terrible place in general.
