Can’t tell you how bummed I am over this. I was awaiting her return so damn much. Especially since her hometown is scheduled soon

Holy hell, Jungle Kyona left Stardom. Her injury is likely the reason and I could easily see her just deciding to not wrestle. If she intends on doing (her message says she is grateful for fan support on her new stage) so that’s a giant free agent joshi. Personally I want her to go to Sead but I’m sure AEW fans are very curious lol Her verbiage is pretty much the exact same statement Io Shirai issued before she was announced as a WWE signing. I have to imagine if Jungle was AEW bound, they would have at least hinted about it. Wouldn't be shocked if she's WWE bound if anything. The style is way less rough than a lot of other promotions these days (including AEW), and Kairi is pretty much one of her best friends. Who also happens to be an ambassador and a talent scout for WWE. I can see her wanting to try her luck over there, especially with Sarray, Asuka, and Io all over there (for reference, Kyona mentioned that she absolutely loved meeting Asuka at a WWE Japan house show awhile back).

That verbiage kinda is standard for all Joshi tho. She’s good friends with Asuka so WWE is definitely in play as you said, literally every Joshi is friends with Sarray too lol

Sad but if I’m being honest, as a fan I’ve always wanted to see her outside of Stardom. She’s so good and her matching up with non-Stardom wrestlers would make so many dream matches (every Sead wrestler, ice ribbon, wave, just imagine her vs Arisa, Tsukka, Yoshiko, Nozaki, Suzu, ASUKA) so freelance would be cool, but I feel like she’s at the level where she might get locked up.

I mean if she's moving to America, there are realistically only two options. WWE or AEW. ROH's women's division is meme tier bad, and Impact would somehow still be a downgrade for her considering very few people actually watch them.

I forgot about them but GLEAT is also a possible option, they have money and are trying to do a women’s division

Konami says there will be a time in the future where it will truly be "THE END". Disappointed it won't happen yet.
My best to whatever Jungle decides to do, as long as it doesn't break her heart.

….and now Natsu was taken off the roster page today. Two departures that really suck.

….and now Natsu was taken off the roster page today. Two departures that really suck. I think that’s been brewing for a while. She’s one of my favorites but if you follow her social media it kinda seems she’s not vibing with wrestling. Kyona says she’ll definitely return to wrestling “somewhere on the planet” so that’s a bit interesting.

Not directly Stardom related but this is sorta the de facto joshi thread, so I'll put it here. Big news in the joshi world is that Suzu Suzuki, Maya Yukihi, and Risa Sera are all expected to be leaving Ice Ribbon by the end of this year, and more names may follow. news.yahoo.co.jp/articles/daf0dcf93852290d0c1cc27713739cb3358b3d19?s=09(sorry if this seems a bit like a rant, I'm just spitballing lol) This is a massive blow to Ice Ribbon, as that's three of their top five leaving. This comes on the heels of Tokyo Sports speculating that a number of joshi will be leaving their promotions (AWG folding up their wrestling activities seems to have been the first domino there). In terms of the talent that's leaving, it's big because at 19, Suzu is already a world class wrestler and highly regarded as the future of the joshi scene. Rossy and Stardom would be stupid not to try and court her, but her love of death matches might actually rule out Stardom (Yahoo suggests that she and Sera will leave to form a death match tag team, but Suzu very conveniently name dropped Giulia in a recent interview). Maya is right up there with elite talent, and the article suggests she is going freelance. I was thinking Sera was getting close to retirement, but that's clearly not the case. Ice is making a statement later so we might be missing some context here. I suppose Stardom is in play for all of them given their money, but they could definitely fit in anywhere. Unrelated but sad news is that SEAdLINNNG's Hanori Hana is retiring due to her health worsening after getting the coronavirus. Sucks as a fan, but longterm health is no joke and I hope she can get better in that regard.

If this ends up coming to pass, that absolutely sucks for Ice Ribbon. Any of them would be good pick-ups, but Suzu Suzuki would be the one I'd pursue if I was Stardom.

Well this took an interesting turn, here's the official statement:
Essentially, Suzu, Akane, Sera, Kurumi, and Mochi are leaving to form their own self-produce promotion called Prominence, in order to focus on hardcore and death matches more than they could in Ice Ribbon. Yuki is becoming a freelancer but will still participate in Ice Ribbon (the others seem like they will as well) and it looks like the parting is on good terms. Yuki's presser was interesting, she mentioned that her goal is to be able to wrestle without restrictions in a lot of places and with different opponents, and even mentioned appearing overseas. When asked if she was leaving for a "bigger promotion" (read: Stardom) she said "I've never been in contact with them...besides, don't you think they want someone a little younger? lol"
It still hurts Ice, but if they can still work together this may not be as doom and gloom as it initially sounded.

What is going on?!? Konami's last match in STARDOM is on December 29th, against Giulia in her first match back from injury.

Her contract ends in December and she’s leaving the company to take a wrestling hiatus to deal with ongoing health issues that haven’t resolved. (She was hospitalized with a stomach issue if I recall) She says she wants to return to wrestling and the Stardom ring when fully healthy.

Good to hear she's taking care of her illness and that she will return. I thought she was either leaving STARDOM for good or retiring. I think Konami is kind of underrated there.
