The Smackdown tonight is running with an empty crowd at the Performance Center, which should give us a good look at what Dynamite could be like.

Lots have positive reaction for it, to be fair, but I find the lack of fans to essentially be taking away the final character of the show. At least personally, I’m sorely missing the crowd reaction. Makes sense Dynamite will come off even worse to me considering how vocal and boisterous AEW crowds are.

It did throw people like Nikki Cross off last night, so that is going to be jarring for a while.

He also donated to a fundraiser for OTT when the show that he was booked for that was originally today didn’t happen. Basically, Moxley is a good egg.

Seems that no booking changes for next weeks show, feel bad for the Rochester people, not witnessing the Exalted one due to the Coronavirus.

I'm sure the summer show is going to have something going for it, both as recompense and because AEW Dynamite's usually have at least one draw to them, maybe Brodie Lee will get a shot at the belt in Rochester or something else that would allow a hometown/Upstate New York wrestler a chance to shine.
It does suck in the moment, but I guess I am glad they are hitting their spots and keeping on telling the stories they have planned, rather than trying to vamp until the crisis has ended.

Sucks for Jimmy Havoc, Kip Sabian. Havoc’s already in the US (in Vegas right now funnily enough) as he’s moved there, no idea about Sabian, though.

Bea Priestly also resides in the UK iirc, and if so it will truly suck because it looked like she was going to be pushed again

An advantage for AEW might be the amount of factions they have. I watched many seasons of the Ultimate Fighter which always had empty arena fights. They were still pretty fun to watch because you had their corners and teams rooting them on. Nothing can replace a live crowd but it could still be fun watching the Inner Circle/Elite six man with guys like Jericho and Cody bantering on the outside.

Thats weird because they advertised the Advantage match for next week unless they will do a bait and switch(in this case would be understandable due to the coronavirus)

Damn just watched the last episode and never have I seen anything age so quickly, felt like a time capsule to a more optimistic time.

It's going to be interesting to see some of the taped wrestling episodes in the next few weeks with the same effect. Offhand, this would include this week's Dark, and whatever is in the can for Impact, MLW, and NXT UK.
