AEW Dynamite is still on for Rochester unless they themselves back out or something changes. The Rochester event said they're taking sterilization precautions, they are away from any virus hotzones, and still welcome fans and AEW to the venue next week. We'll see if that remains the case. Tony Khan has said anyone who doesn't want to work on the show or is feeling stressed about the situation does not have to travel or work AEW, and they will not lose their pushes or card status because of it. He s prioritizing everyones health and safety even if they do plan to move forward and is reassuring the roster if they want to sit out this week or longer. No wrestlers as of yet have done so. So we'll see. I would wager those not involved in any big storylines or matches might want to take up Tony’s offer.

Just about everyone showed up this week, so we'll see who is here next week, and what next week even looks like...

There’s a reported case now in Monroe County which is where Rochester is and outside of it. So I guess we will see soon enough.

Tickets for Rochester have been taken down and Facebook is showing a rescheduled event there in July. So. Yeah. I get it, but I’m bummed. I hope I can keep my seats.

Damn, wanted Brodie to show up here. e: What are they going to do? A clip show? You would think AEW has something in their sleeves... e: Rescheduling stuff when things are probably 10x worse then.

That sucks. I was looking forward to going to Dynamite next week. But absolutely it's what's best.

Oof, really crossing my fingers that we make it here in Jersey through the 25th without shutting down big events, both because it'd mean we're avoiding the worst of the virus, and because, damnitall, I wanna go to Blood and Guts like the big selfish baby I am. Same on all counts. Bad enough that I still gotta go into work with all this shit since my school is dragging their feet; that plus Dynamite getting cancelled would feel like a gigantic “**** you” aimed specifically at me. Indeed: my birthday is March 27, and I was looking forward to going to Dynamite on the 25th, opening day for the Mets on the 26th, and making a big ol' week out of it. And I'm a teacher, too, and so far we haven't had any closure announcements despite being a school with kids that come from dozens of different towns around Jersey and New York. I guess it could still all work out on some level, but I'm increasingly doubting it.

Can Dynamite just NOT have a show? Like aren't they under TV contract with TNT? Like WWE may be planning to do with USA and having their shows at the PC, will AEW be able to find a home base to film shows at if this is indeed the case or are they going completely dark?

All of my entertainment options are dropping like flies! It's the right move though. I wonder when they'll return. There's no precedent for this.

Imo easiest solution would be make Hardy the exalted one and have the show at the Hardys compound.

It would suck to reveal that via vignette but I think you might have to if you wanna have the show at he compound Only other option I see is Daily's Place in Jacksonville since it's Khan's arena and he can do whaever he wants with it. Either one seems like the go to backup plan here.

You could do Daily's Place, reveal Hardy as the Exalted One, and have Blood and Guts at the compound. If the compound is big enough to house the match anyway.

It just needs couple bonfires around the whole thing and be taped in the evening, it'll be wonderful.
