So figured I would create a thread for those who are stuck and looking for something to watch or they haven't watched before. Somewhat similar to my recommend threads before and I will probably do an Manga thread at some point or combine it in here I want to keep the list to complete series so people will get a full series to watch and potentially enjoy Code Geass Lelouch of The Rebellion: Lelouch is an outcasted prince who acquires the power of Geass(Power of the Kings) in hopes of taking revenge on the ones who wronged him (50 Episodes) Monster: The story follows a former doctor in hopes to kill someone who is the embodiment of evil and correct the mistake he made in saving the persons life (74 episodes) FMA Brotherhood: The story follows the Elric brothers in their attempt to get their original bodies back after trying to bring back their mother from the dead (64 episodes) 91 Days: Set during Prohibition era, a young man seeks to revenge on the Mafia who murdered his own family (12 episodes)

Hinamatsuri and Barakamon come to mind immediately in terms of comedies. Both very watchable and rewatchable, just a lot of fun and both very heartfelt.
Offhand would also totally recommend Princess Principal and Flip Flappers, but not sure if the first one counts since while it has a serviceable ending it's kind of open-ended and it's getting a second season.
Then there's the anime my avatar is from, Punch Line. That might be one of the most tightly structured shows I've ever seen, pretty much everything comes back in some manner. I'm not really crazy about the ending but it's a blast getting there and I liked the show so much I pretty much immediately turned around and bought the visual novel adaptation. On the face of it it's just mindless fanservice but there's way more to it than that after you get two or three episodes in; if you're into Zero Escape you'll probably like it, same writer and it has a lot of similar plot beats to Virtue's Last Reward, though they play out differently.

Slayers is a great comedy series and has a ton of content. 1st season is good but a little rough, 2nd season is brilliant and one of the best fantasy comedies ever, 3rd is still pretty funny although it has no connection to anything. I haven't seen seasons 4 or 5 but there's also 5 'movies' and two 90 minute OVA collections that are just perfect.

Slayers and Slayers Next. Revolution, Evolution-R, and the OVA's are a lot of fun, too. You can skip Try, though.
The El-Hazard OVA's are a lot of fun, too.

Recently I’ve been getting into some older stuff like Brave Express Might Gaine and Space Battleship Yamato. So far as what’s new, I did binge Beastars and it’s definitely a fun twist on the high school crush genre.

JoJo.
And not as ajoke, the "Part X" format works great for binge watching. It leaves clear start and point goals and you can skip parts you dont like.

Yea, technically that does count You don't really have to know of the previous season to watch and the season themselves are its own story to an extent

Just finished binge watching Zombie Land Saga.... The terrible CG dancing! The strange use of digitally art-i-fied photos! It burns my soul!
It was fairly cute though and at only like 12 episodes goes by fast. And if you like a hefty dash of cringe or episodes devoted to like Takeshi's Castle knockoffs...

Eizouken was the best anime in at least a decade IMO. I'd recommend that.

Legend of the Galactic Heroes. The OVA version is complete, though there's also a new series modeled perhaps more faithfully on the novels they are based on, but I think the OVA's changes (which were usually more like elaborating on things or introducing characters sooner) were for the better.
It's one of my favorite series ever, and at 110 episodes, it'll keep you occupied nicely. Fantastic cast of characters, gripping stories, and philosophical conversations that have actual depth and nuance. I also met a lot of good friends through it, because many LOGH fans have a bit of a companionship over it, since it's a little off the beaten path.
