I give the nod to Vince on that.  The durag look was hilarious.

Stephanie being the ECW "owner" instead of Heyman during the Invasion just led to another McMahon family feud.

This is like asking me which of my testicles I would like to be kicked in. I hated both.

If I had to pick I would say Vince as ECW champion was less bad because by that point the ECW brand and championship had lost most if not all of its value, so it was at least a nauseating ego trip with something relatively meaningless. I find Stephanie unwatchable at the best of times, and the reveal of her as ECW owner was an early nail in the coffin of the Invasion and the turning point in it becoming yet another McMahon family feud, and so was part of killing off what could've been one of the hottest angles ever, and trashing the respectability of a brand that people at that point still cared about.

Say what you will about Vince the businessman, but Vince the character was willing to look like an ass, and take a beating on top of it. Not to mention that Vince had no problem bleeding like a stuck pig if the match called for it.

If we're being totally honest, Vince McMahon is one of the most legitimate hardcore wrestlers ever. He's never shied away from getting the bejeesus beaten out of him for a second, even though he has absolutely no reason to.
