Does anyone have any? He just came back. Any idea who's the present Suicide? Caleb Konley is the boring answer. I was not watching TNA/Impact/whatever much during the years when Perkins, Gresham and Konley portrayed him. What were his biggest wins and storylines? It's very hard to find info about his list of matches and such as there's been so many wrestlers portraying him. The whole character has been around over a decade now. There must be some hilarity and probably okayish matches at least?

I did watch during this while, but I did not remember this being this funny! EMO Suicide. Is there much other interviews? I want to hear other people's stories, before I start searching all the dirt about this character.

IIRC, Konley is currently affiliated with NWA, so I doubt it's him anymore.
Prob'ly the biggest stuff involving him were MCMG accusing Daniels of being him and the entire Manik run.

Gonna be honest, I completely misunderstood what this thread was going to be about after looking at just the title.

Frankly I always thought the design of the character was super cool, I just hated that edgelord name.

Am I the only one that sees the new mask design and thinks they intentionally made it look slightly closer to The Fiend? Gonna be honest, I completely misunderstood what this thread was going to be about after looking at just the title. Me too. Odd thread subject choice. But even more odd was the choice of the name by TNA when they created the character. A guy with "SUICIDE" written on his chest is bound to make more than a few viewers uncomfortable, or bring back bad memories from their real lives. Not to mention that, when Suicide first debuted, there was also a wrestler in TNA simply known as "Homicide".

Don't forget Daivari doing the "Islamist terrorist" gimmick, so we had some genocide in there too. The running joke was that they were going to form a stable lead by Sabu

I'm pretty sure Homicide and Suicide was a plot point in the TNA video game that spawned the character. My favorite Suicide moment was the Machineguns reacting to Suicide, as they were doing a whiner gimmick, and now they had "getting attacked by video game characters" in their list of complaints.

At one point there was talk of putting Homicide and Suicide together as a tag team called Genocide but Homicide thought it was a stupid idea.

Was he the one trying to get out of the crazy looking cage on the first Hogan episode of TNA? That's my only memory of him.

I remember loving his theme. Still one of my favorite TNA themes.

That was actually Homicide: Also worth remembering that this multi-man cage match on the first episode of Monday Night Impact ended as a no contest because Homicide used a foreign object. This was what they went with to go head-to-head against Raw.

I remembered the TNA game where they made YOU Suicide. Then I remembered the character debuted FROM the game. Also they were classy enough to name a character "Suicide."
In hindsight, what the hell was TNA.

In hindsight, what the hell was TNA. Yeah, one of the best Hogan creative inputs was saying, "Hey you should really change that guy's name". I mean, they changed it to "Manik" and had commentary imply he had mental issues, but...
