Some people arent fans of it due to Hager but I think its perfect as Mox first title defense, would rather sacrifice Hager first than doing it with MJF or Wardlow OR Jericho getting a rematch.

It’s a good way to continue Jon’s feud with the Inner Circle, and one that makes the most sense since Hager is the only guy from the IC he hasn’t fought yet.

It doesn't excite me because its Hager. Nice to see the champ finally show back up last night. Hopefully we'll get another Moxley vs Omega match soon.

You'll have "filler" feuds and times when whatever the champ is doing isn't the biggest program on the card. It's cool. Hopefully Hager comes out of it still looking legit.

Yeah, I don't particularly like it, but within the context of everything currently happening feud-wise it is the work-flow that makes sense. + Hager needs someone to beat him because he's a monster heel and someone needs to get that win over him, who better than then champion. + Moxley needs a challenger for TV to get him a title defense, most other people on the roster either don't have the juice (Havoc, Sabian, Janela) or are too valuable too be burnt by the champion now (Allin, Guevara, MJF) + Moxley needs a reason to keep orbiting the Inner Circle for Blood and Guts purposes (but not ally with the Elite and potentially get swallowed by Cody or Hangman's stories) + Hager and Moxley can showcase some of the faux-MMA style since they are both working with MMA gyms + Minoru Suzuki is not signed to appear on AEW Dynamite. All in all, Hager is an acceptable title defense for TV, I guess.

I'm not a fan of it, and Hager no selling the Paradigm Shift made me like it even less.

Hager is a goof. I guess it could be a decent quick feud for Moxley to kick some IC ass without beating Jericho again and Guevara shouldn’t get the shot or take that L yet either.

I'm not a fan of it, and Hager no selling the Paradigm Shift made me like it even less. Hager didn't particularly no sell it, but the thing is if you're building a guy as a threat you can't exactly have him murked immediately. He got planted and as commentary said had the where with all to catch Moxley in an ankle lock before being kicked out of the ring It sets up a great dynamic of this maybe being Moxley's biggest test yet. He's used to planting people and them staying down... Hager didn't, it plants some doubt.

Hager's the perfect opponent for Moxley right now. The Inner Circle feud needs to continue, Hager's the only one in the faction Moxley hasn't beaten. Hager is billed as the last line of defense, the Big Hurt as it will by Jericho. And they need to stretch storylines out now with the current Pandemic, and this is how you have a good filler feud.
Their plan before all this hit was MJF, and he's probably gonna be the plan when the crowds are back as he should be. This is a good holdover feud for that and a good first defense for Moxley to build upon, but also a good way for Hager to look like a threat.
I know some people are seemingly low on Hager but the dude's been pretty great in his AEW run being Jericho's big muscle. He and Guevara have an especially fun chemistry that I like that I never saw out of him in WWE.

Can’t take Hager seriously but hopefully this is just a TV feud and not something they try to sell for their next PPV.

I have absolutely no objections to Mox becoming the unofficial lineal Lucha Underground Champion.

I don't like him as a person and I don't like him as a wrestler. I'll probably just fast forward through this feud and hope the next one is actually worthwhile.

He and Guevara have an especially fun chemistry that I like that I never saw out of him in WWE. AEW has definitely used him better then WWE ever did. Guy actually comes off as dangerous and threatening which really was never the case in WWE. I knows it's not the popular opinion but I've always liked him and thought he was a good talent so I'm glad to see him being prominent and being used well. Only concern I have is his cardio as he seems really out of shape. It seems like after he's working for a just a few minutes he'll start huffing and puffing and sweating buckets. I also like the chemistry between him and Guevara. I know Santana and Ortiz are the tag team of the Inner Circle but I think a Hager/Guevara team would be a good idea after Hager loses to Moxley. The smarmy young punk heel acting even more cocky because he knows he has the big brute backing him up would make for a good dynamic. It would also give Guevara something meaningful to do other then eating pins every week, since they don't want to introduce a midcard title for whatever reason.

I wanna see Mox use this as a way to try and cause a rift in the IC. Like say he's challenging Hager because he thinks he'll give him a tougher fight than Jericho. There's all kinds of potential.

I like Hager but I'm not feeling it, if only because it doesn't feel natural at all. It's basically just the whole Inner Circle's been causing issues for Mox but for some reason he's laser focused on Hager.
