Minor complaint, but it'd be nice if once in a blue moon someone other than the heels got to treat somebody like a ping-pong ball.
I appreciate that The Elite especially have gone out of their way to make everyone they're in the ring with look like a million bucks, but the whole "snatching victory from the jaws of defeat" routine for every heel midcarder just starts to have diminishing returns after a while.

Hell to the yes. In fact, I think all wrestling companies should feed a Local Man/Woman to a top babyface every now and then, like back in the day.

I feel like Omega and Cody need rehabbed especially. Omega came in presented like this "god-tier" professional wrestling machine. I get he's called the best bout machine due to his ability to tell a story in the ring and all that, but I think that should be preserved for big matches or if there's a major project of a new talent AEW is trying to get over. Snapdragon, V-trigger, One-winged-angel, 1-2-3 once in a while just to let the audience know "Hey, this guy is dangerous and can put anyone away at any time" would do a world of good. Same with Cody.

I agree, in fact every face on the roster should take turns in murdering Sammy Guevara

Has there ever been a face squash match? There was this guy named Bill Goldberg, former football player actually, let Colt Cabana explain it. but in AEW Peter Avalon and the Beaver Boys are the general job team on the heel side.

Definitely. In AEW Kenny is a threat, but in NJPW he was basically booked like a 220-lb monster main eventer. Yeah he was funny, while most of his matches involved him suplexing and powerbombing people to death. Maybe Elite doesn't want to give the impression they're Gagne-ish self-centered promoters. But crowds don't mind a popular wrestler consistently winning so long as multiple people are getting pushes, and other talent is on the rise. AEW has the latter figured out. They'd be wise to have a steady stream of job squad wrestlers if they really want to make their established talent look amazing.

I'd say this weeks AEW DARK gave us some face squash matches as far as the tag team matches went, heels got some heat in but overall it was a showcase for most

Has there ever been a face squash match? Those classic Saturday Night and Superstar episodes had quite a few.
