I mainly wish that Thiago didn’t have two bum knees in their fight, because I legit believe he would have knocked Jones out. As it stands, Dana will never give him a rematch exactly for that reason. Talented fighter, but a real nimrod. Thiago will get that precious interim belt which is just under the WCW Hardcore and UFC BMF championship. Jones comes back and kicks his butt! And the story repeats itself, with just another dude.

Ahahahahahaha, just as I was looking for some normalcy in this crazy world, this asshat gets arrested again. God I hope he goes to jail for real this time. Should be his 3rd DWI and the no-contest assault case. Some judge needs to hold him accountable. We know Dana won't.

If he sees any time for this you just know Dana's going to be waiting outside to pick him up once he's out. Nothing changes, Jones keeps putting black marks all over his career and f***ing everything up, but UFC is going to sing this main's praises when his creer is over as the all-time great he could have been if he wasn't such a sleazy dickbag

So it turns out that Jones did all of this kind of shenanigans in front of a gentlemen's club... Sure, the club was closed but still. Rootless speculation time: Maybe force of habit kicked in during a worldwide quarantine, he went to the club while drunk, got mad that it was closed and started to express his displeasure by getting a gun and shot it up to the air?

Peak Jon Jones. Or at least we hope, lest an even greater global crisis emerge.

At least McGregor is kinda trying to pull his head out of his ass as opposed to Jones, who keeps trying to see how far his will go.

Jon Jones doing something stupid is like asking if the Pope is Catholic.
You know it's bound to happen.
What's also bound to happen is Dana White bailing his ass.

Really should have taken your own advice. Lay in front of the TV, drive drunk to a closed business and fire a gun in the air. Tomato, tomahto.

I’m so glad I quit supporting this idiot by constantly buying his cards. He was actually close to winning me back, but this will save me some money down the line.
Fxxxing moron.

What's weird is how many people on Twitter and the like give the dude a pass just because he is a world class fighter. Its like just because he is probably the most physically gifted MMA fighter ever, everything else is cool.
I've seen people say "don't kick him when he's down/it doesn't affect what he does in the cage/he's just made mistakes and etc". Well, no. One time, MAYBE twice you could chalk it up to a bad mistake. Beyond that he's just being a total shithead&people enabling him isn't helping. He likely does need some form of help, but just acting like repeated offenses are no big deal are eventually going to get someone killed even if it's just him.

He pleaded guilty and got probation, community service and a few days house arrest.
House arrest during covid quarantine.
I'm sure he'll have learned his lesson.

As talented as he is as a fighter, and he is definitely one of the most skilled fighters of all time, I can' stand looking at him. He's a living example of teachers pet and entitlement. Regardless of how many laws/rules he breaks, or people he injures, Dana will always welcome him back eventually. It's decisions like those that have driven me away as a MMA fan. We know he cheats using PED's, and finger gouges to the eyes of his opponents by "accident", of course. He's the MMA equivalent of HHH, balls deep in the bosses daughter, so he can do no wrong, in said bosses eyes.

The strangest thing is it's not like he's ever been a Conor or Ronda level money draw either. At least then you could see his reasoning.
He's certainly a 'name' fighter but not someone who is undeniably getting tons of people to pay to see him to that level.

Yea, they are treating Bones like he is the best of all time and not exactly the biggest draw which they may have confused If Bones came back from his last suspension as only 75% of what he was and suffered an L or so, Dana would def have cut him after this situation
