Strawberry Fields Forever/Penny lane. The would have been at home on Sgt. Pepper, but never made the cut due to EMI demanding a single.

Off the top of my head...
Motown Junk - Manic Street Preachers Mighty Wings - Cheap Trick (from the Top Gun Soundtrack and a heavy influence on Guile's theme from Street Fighter II) Going Underground by The Jam Seconds - Pulp
Tons of others, I'm sure. 80s hip-hop/electro saw just tons of great tracks released only as singles.

"Into The Groove" by Madonna. The original version has never been released on an album in the U.S.
Do songs from cartoons like The Raccoons, Jem and the Holograms, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, do they count, because I got several.

“Son Of Dawn, Brilliant Star” by It Dies Today is one of my favorite metal songs of recent years, but they had serious writers block afterwards and abandoned the comeback album.

“Scary Movies” by Bad Meets Evil was peak Eminem and Royce 5’9, and I don’t think it ever appeared on an official release. Even today it’s randomly hosted on playlists on Spotify rather than being claimed by either artist.

Even today it’s randomly hosted on playlists on Spotify rather than being claimed by either artist. Well, it did appear on "Game Tight: The Very Best of Game Recordings." Regarding the subject, I'm not sure if it means "regular album" like an album put out by the artist or in general like compilations and the like. Here are some good examples, though: Originally, these songs were supposed to be on the soundtrack album for the 2006 Pink Panther movie, but in the end, the score was only released. At least "Check on It" was released on the Japanese deluxe edition of B'Day.

The Wildhearts - 29 X the Pain And Sick of Drugs. A lot of golden era Kinks tracks were never on albums: Dedicated Follower of Fashion, Dead End Street, Wonderboy, Autumn Almanac, Days, even more if you include tracks that were put on the US-only “albums” that were just compilations of single and EP tracks.

Green Day’s “J.A.R”, appearing on the soundtrack for Angus, then compiled onto International Superhits.

The post above just reminded me of this one...
Danko Jones - Bring On The Mountain, Become The Mountain. Arguably their best song, only ever played live, never recorded.

No Leaf Clover by Metallica
Appears only on the live “S&M” album. Probably because of the orchestral backing.

I don't believe "Soul to Squeeze" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers was on a full album.

I’m not sure Rattle and Hum is a “regular” album (it’s a combination of live songs, covers and a few new songs) but All I Want is You is incredible.

"Identity Crisis" by Alice Cooper. Done as the opening/closing song for a 1985 Italian werewolf movie he starred in, Monster Dog. One of my favorite songs of his.
