I'm talking long term booking here. Obviously not anytime soon but hell , i'm on quarentine, thinking about wrestling so lets talk.
I think Uno still pulls the evil spokesman thing very well.As much I like Brodie I feel like Uno taking over would put over his team with Grayson to a big level if Brodie keeps the dominating presence to him.

Yeah. so far I think Evil Uno was a better fit at the leader of The Dark Order. From his look in the suit, to his delivery, it's a much better fit (so far).
Brodie still could have come in as an unknown factor, and still been doing his Vince parody stuff.
Other than a Jake or Raven, I think anyone else would feel shoe horned.
And I like Brodie Lee, but I don't think it fits. He should've been put with Jake. Only time will tell.

I think Brodie is fitting shockingly well. The Vince parody stuff isn't actually far off from real world cult leaders - having heard an audio clip of Tony Alamo, I would have believed that it was based on him or someone like him if not for the people who recognized the Vince-isms. His combination of eloquence, poise, physical threat, egotism, and double standard treatment is a pretty good fit.
It does veer the whole thing away from camp, but that is probably for the better.
Evil Uno could easily take the whole thing back over, though. That vignette planted clear seeds for some kind of eventual schism, especially since Brodie is more interested in his personal power trip than anything else. Going back to real world cults, there are instances of the "in it for the fame and exultation" leaders getting ousted and replaced by less malevolent "true believer" types, and that could make for an interesting story.

Uno and Grayson staging a coup would be an interesting turn of events.
Perhaps Silver and/or Reynolds eventually rebelling might an interesting direction to go in as well.

I would hope that's the long term plan, being in his early thirties Uno has a far better upside than Brodie and that sounds like the kind of breakout feud that could make a guy like Uno. He's impressed me a lot over the past few months.

They needed a star.
Uno has surprised the shit out of me with his promo ability and character in this. (I only knew of him by name from the indies so I haven't actually seen him before AEW)
But in order for The Dark Order to be big, they needed that surprise IMO.

He's impressed me a lot over the past few months. He's young, but he's also been wrestling since he was like 14 (though wikipedia also claims he debuted at more like 16-17, so it's unclear), so hopefully he doesn't have a ton of mileage on his body. I love the toothed design on the mask, it gives such a creepy look. It's astounding how much better his heel gear looks than how rough his face gear looked.

Honestly, I wanted Uno to be the leader even WITH an "Exalted One". The idea being that the Exalted One isn't exalted because he's their leader. He's exalted because he's a destructive monster, a symbol of their darkness, incarnate. That the Exalted One would basically be Uno (and to a lesser extent, Stu)'s personal monster/force of menace. Sure, the Dark Order would look up to him and exalt him. But he wouldn't boss them around. Obviously, that's not the way they went.

I'd eventually like to see Uno and Grayson betray the Exalted One, but then going to start their own even most evil offshoot, something like the F.O.E. "Fruits of Evil" or something. Give Brodie a chance to do face work.
