Independent wrestler Jamie Senegal posted a tweet with an old photo as a kid with Ashley Massaro as part of a "post a photo of you with one of your wrestling heroes" thing on Twitter. twitter.com/thejamiesenegal/status/1243385250161381377Tammy Sytch responded, saying "Ummmm isn't she gone??" Prompting a ton of responses about how she's a terrible person. Lock her back up before she actually kills someone with her repeated drunk driving. Piece of trash.

Sadly she will never change unless she is jailed for life or she unfortunately dies. Her emotional and mental growth was stunted in her early 20s and that is the way she thinks now. She is an example of too much too soon and before her 24th birthday her fame had really halted. She probably resents a lot of the divas as well. Sunny was ahead of the times really and now WWE relies on the divas more than they did in the mid 90s so there's more opportunity for long term fame than in Sunny's era.
I met Ashley very briefly in 2016 and she was a friend of a friend of mine on the wrestling convention scene and I always heard good stories about Ashley. Her death really hurt.

It's an awful comment to make but this can't be news to people given her previous comments. I read her book and it was interesting in parts but her recollection(doing heavy lifting here) of the Montreal screwjob makes hogan look good in the bullshit terms. Its a mess.

Was she even the biggest back then. Sable was more popular at that time than Sunny She was very popular from late 1995/early 1996 until Sable was a few months into her time. Once she lost all of the people she managed it started a decline and when Marc Mero was on injury leave, they used Sable much more on her own without Marc and with Sunny on the back burner. Knowing Sable was taking over, it probably added a lot to Sunny's personal issues. She's 24 or 25 and already her famous was decreasing. I personally favored Sunny over Sable (who I thought was in her 40s) but fans obviously loved Sable. WWF tried what they could with Sunny, much like Billy Graham in the late 80s, with commentator and skits but nothing really fit.

Some people face adversity and come out the other side with a strong sense of compassion and empathy for others, not Sunny. She was a horrible person going in and she's come out the other side as tactless and gross as ever, having learned nothing, the only difference between her attitude in 1995 and her attitude now is she can be horrible 24 hours a day via social media if she chooses.

in 1998 I wondered why Sunny was phased out and let go
seems like she has spent the last 20 years giving me that answer

Even then, once you're in your 40s and beyond you're pretty well set in your ways personality wise. Best one can really hope for is she keeps her nose clean both figuratively and literally and does no more harm to herself or people around her.

Tammy Sytch is basically like a child star who had a couple of hits a lifetime ago and then did nothing forever. It's sad really.

No reason to jump down her throat for this. People are assigning malice to this for absolutely no reason. She probably meant "Wait, how do you have a photo? I thought she died?" and the person had to explain to her the photo was from 2011. You can see that context in the original thread.

Tammy doing literally nothing for 20 years would be miles more productive than what she actually did. I think the only good thing I can think of since 2000 is "She showed up to the Hall of Fame and wasn't drunk/high... maybe"
