Alberto Del Rio was one of the least over world champs of all time. He is pretty useless and it wouldn't be good to have Paige and him around each other. The guy is clearly not a nice person and I don't want him back, but this just simply isn't true. He was over as both a heel and a face.

With Punk there are guys I'd be interested in seeing him wrestle, but I'm equally fine with him never wrestling again.
I'm glad he wants nothing to do with Del Rio, though. I try not to talk much about the wrestlers I don't like, but that guy is a f***ing clown and a bore.

He was over once as a heel when he debuted and once when he turned face because of Ricardo Rodriguez Didnt take long to realize both time that he is a one-note bore.As a champion especially he always drew crickets

I thought ADR was one of the better in-ring performers during his first run, really enjoyed watching him. Was never the same when he came back the second time, it seemed a bit half-arsed. And then he turned out to be a complete tool, which retroactively ruined a lot of his good work.
There is more than enough good wrestling these days so either guy coming back or not really isn't a massive deal to me.

Good call by vinnie mac. Out of both punk and del rio I'd prefer to see del rio back even with the stuff he's said and done towards WWE. CM punk wouldn't be worth the huge amount of hassle he'd bring in case someone looked at him wrong he'd throw his toys out of the Pram. Punk makes Austin Aries look a happy go lucky guy in comparison. He's such a dislikable person. The way he treated colt cabana after his trial against WWE was telling and I'm not a huge fan of cabanas.

UK wrestling crowds are usually excited, yet Del Rio even managed to bore them that night.

Good I don't want to see ADR ever again. Punk is meh, he is a draw and more popular but is he worth the hassle backstage? Maybe not.

Not to sound like some psycho-analytic weirdo but Punk is totally at the unhealthy level of an Enneagram Personality Type One. I heard it and he *immediately* leaped to my mind as fitting it to a tee. I mean, read this and tell me it doesn't sound *just* like him (sans the last two lines of part 9, I assume).
His agents reaching out to WWE after everything is the least shocking thing ever.

I’ve been out of the loop recently, why is everyone agreeing with Vince on Punk.

Del Rio is just a toxic person who would ruin today's main roster which is damn hard given how it's damaged today. He's just not someone who needs to be around.

The work that he does as a wrestling character, regardless of his motivations? Really confused, the answer what the appeal is is also why he has his fans. Sure but nowadays? When he clearly doesn’t care anymore and is more and more outwardly miserable? I know I wouldn’t want to see a guy phoning it in while being miserable. Why do people still buy Lauryn Hill tickets with how notorious she is for no-showing concerts? Regardless of her demons, when she's on, it's everything people want, and the hope is that she'll be on that night. People hope that if Punk comes back, he'd deliver, because on the chance he did, it would be great to them.

Enneagram Personality Type One I wasn't exactly saying to take it as gospel, but thanks for stomping on the fun.

Wouldn't mind Punk in the role they've got in mind for MVP - a manager who can bump and wrestles occasionally, his FT days are behind him.
