Didn't enjoy this episode really.
At least half the time was spent recapping the mania matches with Micheals and Triple H from around a decade ago and they've already been talked about constantly anyway so it was pretty dull I thought.
They definitely glossed over that match with Triple H in Australia, because I remember thinking that match was awful. A classic triple h plodding slow methodical match except with a guy in Undertaker who is clearly completely broken down.
Next episode looks good though.

Am I the only one who hates that Michelle McCool is in the background of like every third shot? I get it, she's his wife and a former wrestler, but I swear to Christ, I thought in part two during his training he was going to tombstone her as part of his workout.
Overall, I absolutely love this series and God, I'd love to just have a few beers with Mark and pick his brain on everything wrestling.
As far as Vince goes with former wrestlers and his giving a payday or paying for rehab, Terry Funk said it best, "Sometimes Vince just does things to be nice." It's really hard for me to hate Vince or just write him off as a terrible person when I look at the Warrior doc they did and you could tell he either was crying or just stopped crying over a guy who had spent the better part of 20 years actively in some sort of litigation against him and his company. That coupled with him cutting off the camera in part two of this series when asked about his feelings toward UT. The older I get, the more I think that Bruce Prichard and Jim Cornette might be right about him, he's an absolutely ruthless business man, but as a person, he's not that terrible of a guy (breaks out the whip and chair).

Ehhhhh.... I'm not going to get the pitchforks out or anything, but as time goes on, the more I think that Vince is a nice guy provided that it either helps his business to be a nice guy, or at least doesn't hurt it. I think Vince would absolutely stomp his conscience into the dirt, and probably has, to protect the empire he's built, and no one is bulletproof from that obsession.

He has bad match, needs to redeem himself.

I noticed they glossed over HBK's motives for coming back. Yeah they said they were suprised when he agreed but they never said why he agreed. Though I guess those Saudi paychecks are hard to resist and they just don't want to say it openly.

Psychopaths can be charming it's part of there make up and Vince is a psychopath. This also the same guy who can bribe Police and State governments and ring a family up and offer them bribe money over the murder of a loved one without a shred of shame.

That Jim Johnston Undertaker piano theme is something else and I'm glad they used it for this documentary.

I haven't seen the third episode yet, but I watched the first two tonight and enjoyed them. Taker seems like a good dude and I have all the respect in the world for him because he genuinely does want to entertain the fans, but the man's loyal to a fault and I think it's really starting to hurt his legacy. He talked about not wanting to become a parody of himself and I honestly feel he's been just that since The Streak ended with maybe one or two cool moments (including the entire Boneyard Match) since.
Also, Michelle McCool comes off pretty... cool.

Just an old man who can't let go of the irreplaceable glory that wrestling provides.
Kinda sad at this point

Taker seems like an even worse person as the documentary goes on and on and i'm glad I gave this a chance to see that so I don't use any more energy on him

Guessing it's due to reasons we can't get into on here, but in my own opinion he comes off as a nice guy who unfortunately just has a hard time letting go.

Yeah, my guess it has to do with certain politically-influenced attire he's been sporting during the interview segments. But it's irrelevant to the story being told so I'm not sure why it would stop someone from watching the series entirely.

With what's happening nowadays, I can understand why certain clothing choices would strike a nerve. Obviously, all of this is coincidence - but it's very, very bad timing unfortunately.

DX vs. Brothers of Destruction, Undertaker bloopers, Angle kissing Undertaker, talking about Double or Nothing, this is a wild one so far.

Him sitting at WM35 sparking him wanting to return to the ring is like putting a recovering alcoholic inside a beer factory.
