I’ll still end of watching it anyways despite Ezra’s actions. Can’t pass up watching Keaton’s Batman again! Yeah, same. Just hope the movie’s really good cuz I really didn’t dig Ezra as Flash. That was..before everything else lol

I can't believe Ezra has basically got away with. Still got a career, hasn't become the pariah of Hollywood. Clearly shows zero remorse.

Every day, someone should ask Ezra Miller, "How come you did all them crimes, Ezra Miller?"

Sadly neither have the fans. Instead of boycotting this crap, people are still going to see it. It's a crumb of comfort knowing that it is almost guaranteed to be DC's biggest ever box office bomb. If nothing else, Ezra's likely finished as a big movie lead.

I would say that the Flash's likely status as a historic flop is more of a "death of a thousand cuts" situation than solely because Ezra Miller did crimes. But "Ezra Miller Did Crimes" certainly played a part in it.

Literally it would have been less expensive to make a tax write off

Literally it would have been less expensive to make a tax write off and there's literally no way that Batgirl would have lost them more money... or literally like any of the movies they wrote off..

All that "Cost cutting" Zaslav did just for Black Adam and The Flash to be absolute box office nukes Karma is a bitch lol Funnier still when you consider how hard he went to bat for this movie. Called it the best superhero movie he'd ever seen. Said he'd seen it three times. And this was the first WBD movie he gave a public seal of approval, if I'm not mistaken. His first big push as WBD head ended up one of the worst bombs in Warner Bros history and I love that for him.

Wasnt Batgirl an HBO Max film? So it wouldnt have made them money either technically. Not agreeing with the write off. Bad practice that pisses off fans and creatives.

So it wouldnt have made them money either technically. Not agreeing with the write off. Bad practice that pisses off fans and creatives. Theoretically it would make money by getting more people to subscribe to HBO Max. And since I absolutely completely believe that was never going to happen (at least not in significant numbers), you could argue they were right to can it. That said, I think the upcoming Blue Beetle movie was also originally created to be for HBO Max as well and at some point they just said "screw it, throw it in theaters", so they probably could've done the same for Batgirl and probably been better off for it.
