I was just listening to The Lapsed Fan while working and someone wrote to them saying WWE removed the Hogan Silverdome error from the replay? Can anyone confirm this (I'm working or I would)? How pathetic, if true. That's one of the more funny things in WWE history and was of no harm to anyone.

Yes, it’s been edited out of the network. (The 47 minute version of the show that is).
It’s intact on the full version.

Yes, it’s been edited out of the network. What a weird choice. It's one of the most charming moments of an excellent show and Hogan himself still jokes about it.

That is a really odd thing for them to do. It must have been fairly recently too as I watched mania 30 on the network on April 4th right before night one of this years’ mania. It was still very much in tact then and still funny, especially when Austin plays on it.

If it was still there two weeks ago after six years, I'm thinking some people have just wrongly assumed that they cut it. I believe it was included in the replay of WM 30 on ESPN last month as well.

Nope. I checked before I posted the other day, just checked again now, it’s definitely not there anymore.

Do they cut out Austin's "Great to be back here in the Silverdome" opening joke as well?

Do they cut out Austin's "Great to be back here in the Silverdome" opening joke as well? Yep. And Rock referencing it too. And when all three men do their closing catchphrase, they cut out “and the Superdome” from Hogan’s bit. (Yet still show Austin laughing at it).

Hogan’s reaction when he realized he fed up was hilarious.

At 10:16, Austin references it.

WWE Network has two WrestleMania 30 videos, the full 4-hour show and a 47-minute version right next to it. The short version does edit the segment, but the full length show does not.

At 10:16, Austin references it. Ok. For whatever reason there appear to be two versions of Wrestlemania XXX on the app. The first version that comes up going through the Wrestlemanias is actually what appears to be an edited highlights show as it’s just under an hour long. Don’t know if that was the replay version because we never got it here (or at least not that I know of). That has all the references to Silverdome edited out. The second version appears to be the full version as it’s the usual runtime. That has all the references intact.

It’s strange that no other Wrestlemania (with the exception of 36) has two videos. And why the shortened version is the first one that appears. They should stick that in with the kick-off show and make it easier.

But I know there were edited for TV versions of other Wrestlemanias, I’m wondering why is WMXXX the only one on the network?

There was a 1-hour version of WM 30 that aired on NBC around August 2014, but I don't think it's the same show that is on the Network. The 3 WMs that aired on ESPN a few weeks ago were each 4 hours long with commercials. They also had studio segments with Tom Phillips and Corey Graves recapping the angles and hyping this year's show.

Yes, it’s been edited out of the network. (The 47 minute version of the show that is). It’s intact on the full version. That's freakin' stupid, that's like the best part about it and I bet money that even the ones involved in segment would think of that.
