Decided to let Agent S go, so I'll be looking for someone new yet again.

And coming to the island is... Raddle! Neat, I got him on my island last month. He's cute and all, but I wouldn't trust my life to a lazy doctor especially one that continuously talks about how bug infested his home practice is.

Turnips are 239 bells in my town at the moment. I didn't buy any this week so doesn't do me a lot of good but if anyone needs to unload let me know and I'll pop the gate open.

So glad I can just buy some Halloween items.
Shaking trees for pine cones just ain't working out, I just get wasps.
Also glad I left some undeveloped areas.

If you're looking for some art (not of the Redd variety), The Met has links to turn their art pieces into images for New Horizons

Hi everyone, I'm just hoping someone may be able to provide me with some key information for progression in the game.
We've bought the game for my son and I've never played Animal Crossing before so I'm having to Google search a lot and that can be a bit overwhelming!
So far we have got him to a level where he has most of the tools (no ladder yet) and he's collecting the materials needed to build the shop.
I think what I'm looking for is an understanding of the best way to make miles and bells, what materials etc. should be kept and which should be sold?
Also if anyone is open to him visiting their island that would be great, just let me know of any standard etiquette to be aware of when doing so.
Thank you 😊

I think what I'm looking for is an understanding of the best way to make miles and bells, what materials etc. should be kept and which should be sold? You should keep materials whenever possible, but if you get gold nuggets, they can be sold for good money. Fishing for the best fish produces the quickest bells, as well as collecting the best bugs possible. Though go to the museum first with anything new. Also, try to get other fruits from other islands and plant a lot of trees. Outside fruit makes you a ton of bells. Then there's turnips on Sunday. Buying bunches of turnips give you a chance at selling them for a higher price, though the prices shift 12 times during the week. As for miles, once you unlock the Nook Miles+ option, it's far easier to rack them up as the game rewards you for everything from talking to villagers, selling weeds, planting flowers, etc.

Thank you 😊 I use this site whenever I have a question about something: nookipedia.com/wiki/Animal_Crossing:_New_HorizonsIt's especially helpful for fish, bugs and sea creatures, as there's lists for all three that tell you how much they're worth, when they're available to catch and where to catch them. He can always visit my island if he likes! The only real thing to be conscious of (and it's honestly not even *that* big of an issue to me, but generally speaking) is not to run through flowers. Another thing is some people really appreciate it if you take the time to water their flowers, since visitors doing so helps with growing and breeding. I'm at a point where he wouldn't need to worry about that on my island, though. He can have fun looking around, shopping and talking to my (wonderful, crazy) villagers. Just send me a message whenever you guys would be able to swing by, and if I'm playing/able to hop on, I'll shoot you a dodo code :)

Thank you both for your help, hopefully we will get some time to sit down later today and play some more so I may well be back on the forum seeking dodo codes!

Today's a good day for a visit on my island, since it's Clay's birthday and he's a little party hamster.

Raddle asked to be let go from my Island today and I obliged as I had maxed my friendship level with him a couple weeks ago and got his photo. Now I can spend my next day off going on another villager hunt.

Rod's photo has been gained at last How many photos do you have now? You have to be in double digits, because I am (barely - 11) and you started playing before me.

I have spent ages looking for a sea pig and I just can't find it. It's the only thing presently available to me I haven't gotten yet but just zero luck.
Honestly I'm feeling very tempted after I do find it to go ahead and just time travel to finish the fish, bugs, and deep sea creatures. I'm only missing one each for the fish and bugs and four for the deep sea creatures.
Wonder when we're next getting a patch incidentally. It'll clearly be soon, because Franklin was in the holiday graphic back when, but it's weird we haven't heard about it yet. Unless they just do the Thanksgiving and Christmas updates together or something.
