I wonder what the next game will be like, a follow up to 7, Kiwami 3, or maybe another spin-off like Lost Paradise? I don't see them doing more Kawami restarts since they released "remastered" version of 3,4 and 5 I can see a spin off tho Yeah, the first two Kiwamis were literally because they were really out of date PS2 titles that real wouldn’t have worked as remasters. 3, 4 and 5 were PS3 titles so it was much easier to fine tune those.

Yeah, like it would be dope to have those be full on redone like 1-2 but it isn't needed per se They will just focus on diff things. Judgement (which I still need to play) and spin offs like Dead Souls, I can see them focusing on as in-between projects when not working on a main game

I really wish they had Kawami versions of the other 3
Or at the very least Yakuza 3 because graphically that really could have done with one and gameplay wise some of the recent mechanics wouldn’t have hurt
Maybe a little editing of the story as well. That orphanage story did nothing for me

If they want a spin-off, how about for Ryuji Goda in the 90's, just after Kiryu got arrested?

Either a 16-bit spin-off of Like a Dragon due to the loading screen sprites, or another game with playable Majima. If the next game is a Like a Dragon sequel, however, here's what I hope to see: {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}Kasuga becoming the governor of Tokyo and the Japanese version of Mike Haggar who kicks thugs' asses at the same time.
Saeko and Nanoha reconcile.
Adachi becomes the new police commissioner after Horinouchi's arrest.
Nanba possibly getting his nurse license back, and the first appearance of his brother.
Also, what happens next with Kume after murdering Masato Arakawa/Ryo Aoki at the end of Like a Dragon.

Personally, I'd like to see a prequel game featuring the older yakuza who are less reluctant to kill, like Kazama, Shimano and Kuze. Maybe a game detailing the events leading up to the Jingweon Massacre.

Definitely gave them a needed shot in the arm. And while i'm still in chapter 5 and obviously haven't finished the game, i'm looking forward to the next installment because Ichiban is a good character and they can do a lot more with the RPG mechanic LAD is def up there with 0 and Kiwami 2. I also think adding English has gone a long way as well as I hardly ever do 2 playthroughs but i'm doing the first one in English and 2nd will be in Japanese at some point Between this and Judgment they seemed to have found a winning formula that works and keeps the series alive and still maintain crossover appeal

So, y'all heard Judgement is getting a sequel, and it's a world wise release this September? It's also going to be in Ijincho as well as Kamurocho, so I wonder if we'll hear any NPC conversations about a "Representative Kasuga" or not.

I think the Judgment sub-series is meant to be a continuation of the "traditional" Yakuza style of gameplay. The mainline games are apparently going to continue in Like A Dragon's example and be RPG's.
I should really get into this series sometime. I have the first game on PS2 and just stopped playing it after a couple of hours for reasons I can't even remember anymore.

I did end up buying it last night. I was sold as soon as I did the Karaoke minigame.

Last year in MLB The Show, I made Kiryu as a created pitcher in RTTS for the heck of it.
He got drafted to the Pittsburgh Pirates, and well....I guess you folks can deduce how well that went. Needless to say, the Pirates sucked. o__o
