Well, the draft is coming up and it is going to be virtual so let's see how this plays out

I have a bad feeling that the Bears are going to trade up into the first round to draft Jordan Love, and I already hate the move.

I’m completely the Niners trading down to reclaim some of the capital they squandered away for last year’s failure. They don’t have a pick between number 31 and the fifth round.
It’s actually the smart thing to do, TBH, it’s just less flashy/sexy/exciting as picking the biggest name there at 13.

Stop being a homer, last year is not a failure when you make it to the Superbowl after no one even had you in the playoffs In regards to the pick, they have to resist the temptation of taking a WR but either way it isn't a bad thing. Jerry Jeudy could possibly be at 13 and I see them choosing him

They went all in, and they lost. They had to trade their second best defender to keep the rest of the team around. There’s an very solid chance of a “return to normal” this season. It’s as close to a fail as a Super Bowl appearance as you can have. I’ll shut up and leave it at that. If they stay; I’ve seen one of the three receivers as targets (Jeudy/Lamb/Ruggs). Of those three I don’t want Ruggs, who some don’t seem to like as much but I’m not really well known in these guys. Also yet another lineman might be in the equation, which would make sense with Buckner gone.

They were supposed to be trash again this year and surprised everyone. Either way you'd been crying whether they got blown or lost close. In fact they might have been bigger bitches if they got smoked and got the fans hope for nothing. NFL is an up and down beast and nothing is for sure. They have what it takes to do it again but will see It seems most likely they would get a WR at that pick. Jets have a pick of OL or WR but word is despite them signing like 5 OL, they still want another. Even if they did draft a WR, they like Ruggs. Lamb could be the 1st WR off the board and if Jets go OL then San Fran lucks into a WR and I would draft him there instead of trading down. WR class is deep but I think not taking Metcalf last year will weigh heavy on their mind

Hitting on Deebo eased the pain of not picking my dude Metcalf. I’d rather have taken him still, but Deebo is far more than “shifty Shanahan slot guy #15” that I had him pegged as.

In any other year, Tua Tagovailoa would be the second quarterback off the board and teams would be tripping over themselves to trade up to draft him. But in a year where teams can't double- and triple-check his hip injury, there exists the very real possibility that Justin Herbert gets taken ahead of Tagovailoa purely because he's a safer bet and coaches/GMs don't want to risk their jobs on a hip injury that may or may not be fully healed.
I still think Tua will end up being the better pro, but I also think there's a chance Herbert gets taken by the Dolphins at 5 and Tua falls to the Chargers at 6, or maybe he even drops further than that if teams are really unsure about his recovery.

I think if, for some crazy reason, Tua’s still on the board at 8, the Arizona Cardinals will basically auction off their pick to the highest bidder. Because there will be five teams behind them (Jacksonville, Las Vegas, Denver, New England, New Orleans) willing to move heaven and earth to move up to acquire a guy they thought as recently as a month ago that they’d had no shot at landing.

Just read the Niners are high on Ruggs, and after reading up... yeah, I see it. Small super fast guy who can also be a gadget player. I can already see Shanahan dialing up crazy double reverses with Deebo and Ruggs running all over the place.
Not my first choice... but maybe he’ll be like Deebo and prove me wrong.
Love the comparison I saw. He could be Tyreek Hill... but he could also be Tedd Ginn.

Miami has three first rounders. Theres no reason they wont take a QB here and they'd probably kick themselves if its not Tua.

I will be doing Twitch stuff all Draft, including Jackbox tomorrow in case anyone is interested.
Also, I'm predicting that Tua goes to the Giants because Gettleman is a goddamned idiot.

The Eagles literally have one job night one of the draft... get a stud WR
And if that means trading up to get Ruggs or Lamb, you do it. You have a ton of draft capital this year TO do it with teams like the Niners who want to trade down and they're in the prime spot for a Lamb/Ruggs pick.
Wentz needs recievers, probably more than one this draft (KJ Hamler from Penn State is a good day two pick), so please... get it done.

The draft will get interesting at No 5 for Miami
They could draft either Herbert or Tua. If they are drafting "scared" they will go more safe with Herbet but if they are going to take the chance it will be with Tua. If Herbet goes to Miami then does Tua go to the Chargers? That probably would be the best fit for him. Sit behind Tyrod and maybe Cam for a season with no pressure to play

This is a stacked WR class, they don't need to trade up to get one They will stay be in position to draft Higgins or Jefferson by the time their number comes up
