St. Louis Teams
Currently
Cardinals: Mike Trout (Clearly who wouldn't want the best all around player in the game?) Matt Sherzer (Be cool to have a Local guy)
Blues: TJ Oshie (I want him back.) Ovechkin (Best goal score in the game since Gretzky) For personal reasons and because I like there dad when he played here and being there dad still a a party of the organization. Matthrew and Brady Tkachuk I really wanted Taveres before last season but was happy getting ROR, ended up being the better move.
Pass: *Gretzky* (OK he was here but I wish we didn't have a douche of a coach/GM that pulled that contract that made him leave after a half season.) Patrick Roy (So much fun to watch) Chris Chelios Peter Forsberg (Some reason always traded for him in the PS days of NHL games. lol)
Cardinals:
Ken Griffey Jr Nolan Rryan

We haven't had a 3B like him since Rolen. All-time, Randy Johnson by a wide margin. I want Oshie back bad. But I REALLY want Reaves back. The fanbase/player fit was amazing, but it also has been with him and Vegas. Matthew Tkachuk is a slightly bigger Marchand. Dude is just a goober. Hard pass. I did want us to trade up for Brady tho. I wish we would have seen what would have happened if we kept Scott Stevens. I've always been a fan of Malkin as well and wanted to get him here when we badly needed a center.

It didn't lead to much besides a couple of playoff appearances and one great individual regular season, but Jaromir Jagr on the Rangers was like a dream come true.

Well, after I found out it was a thing. Gretzky.
He agreed to a deal with the Canucks. They said “Great. Come down and sign”. He said, “It’s 2am. I’ll come in the morning at a decent hour”. The Canucks said “Nope. Now or never”. He said never and that was that.

If anyone talented could come & play for Aston Villa, that would be great

He's probably Pens for life but as a Habs fan I always thought it would be cool for Sid Crosby to end his career in Montreal since they were his team as a kid.

David Wright for the Yankees. I think he'd have looked quite nice in pinstripes. Plus, at the time I figured going from the Mets to the Yankees would be like going from the outhouse to the penthouse.

Every time I hear Vladimir Tarasenko is unhappy in St. Louis, I get it into my head that he'd be a great pickup for the Sharks. And then he inevitably re-signs with the Blues.

Man, if LeBron and Dwayne Wade actually went to Chicago over that 2010 offseason, it would've probably been the Bulls being the team to beat in the East for 4 years.
Rose, Wade, LeBron, Noah, Deng. That would've been another lineup that was near unstoppable.

If anyone talented could come & play for Aston Villa, that would be great You have Jack Grealish & a 37 year old but still damn good Pepe Reina. Though granted if you go down neither of them will be there next season. On Topic I still maintain Sidney Crosby should have been a Ranger if they had done that post lockout draft in a better way.

To be fair, I think our best player is John McGinn, who covers every blade of grass twice a game. As you said, relegation would essentially mean having to start from scratch for however long.

Every good Prem team needs a McGinn. That's why Liverpool have dominated the season. We have like 8 of those sort of players.

Barry Sanders --- I imagine him and Favre on the same team, If they didn't draft Tony Mandarich one pick before him

Insignificant petty gripe, but I hate that people forget that the Mets (and other teams) wear pinstripes too. It's not exclusive to the Yankees. They don't have a patent on them. Yeah Yeah I get the history, but its possible for other players to "look good in pinstripes" on another team.
