I can’t wait to see Ron’s take on social distancing. You’d think it would be his thing because of not having to be around the public, but then again it’s the government telling him to do so.

I am so excited for this!! It’s my favorite show and I can’t wait to see their take on current events. Also read that the whole cast agreed to it in less than an hour which was very sweet.
They said some guest stars will be there so wishlist: of course Jean Ralphio and Mona Lisa, Perd Hapley, legendary newswoman Joan Calamezzo, Orin, and that guy who starts chants at the community hearings.

I say they use this opportunity to confirm that Parks and Rec and The Office are in the same universe. Even if it's a quick mention of Karen having a cousin who works in Utica or something like that would be enough for me, lol.

I want there to be a shot of Mark sitting next to his phone in the dark waiting for someone ask how he's doing.

Hopefully Chris Pratt has got himself in ‘Parks & Rec’ shape for the occasion.

He was left running a state park, right? Which would be shut down, so he can enjoy nature buy himself with absolutely nobody to bother him. I think he'll be doing just fine.

True but considering it’s a Covid-19 special I assume they’ll all be in character on whatever their current version of Zoom is. Ron doesn’t seem like a man that uses Zoom. I expect the joke to be he’s conflicted over it because the park is shuttered until it’s over, he loves the isolation but he just feels so dirty because he’s enjoying something the government told him to do.

The whole half hour should be Leslie desperately trying to get a hold of Ron, but Ron is just put enjoying nature and actually has no idea of what's going on, doesn't even know there's a quarantine, and is relishing the fact that nobody is coming to the park.

Hopefully Chris Pratt has got himself in ‘Parks & Rec’ shape for the occasion. Or there's a joke by someone who hasn't seen him in awhile that says "You look like a superhero now" or something like that.

One of my favorite jokes in the whole series was that Andy stopped drinking beer and lost 50 pounds in one month.

It was a gentle reminder that you can assemble one of the best casts in TV history and Paul Rudd can steal the entire thing out from them in about 45 seconds.

Tonight reminded me how much I loved that show. I would love to see a reunion where they are all on set together but tonight was good. And yeah, Paul Rudd at the beginning was fantastic.

It was better than I expected, in that I expected it to be absolutely terrible because my memories of Parks and Recreation are still clouded by the god-awful final two seasons. It was generally charming and warm and showed that not just the characters but the people behind these characters seem to genuinely love one another.
The show elicited a few laughs out of me (Bobby Newport's ignorance of what's happening in the world, Chris asking Andy if he's just donating blood to random people, Jean-Ralphio getting kicked off of Cameo for filming videos in the nude, Dennis Feinstein's general existence and continued awfulness) and was a reminder that despite how terrible it ended, at its apex, "Parks and Recreation" might have been the best comedy on television ever. Better than "Seinfeld," better than "The Office," better than "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia." From seasons 2 through 4, that show was just cranking it out of the park week after week after week.
