This game has snuck up on me. Didn't think it would be done this soon as I hype for it when they showed the trailer a while back. This is going to be a buy

The combat looks good, but I’m I wish the stealth had more going for it than just being A Batman/ AC clone. Sucker Punch has made great combat systems and traversal mechanics in the past though, so I’m hoping that we haven’t seen everything. Overall, I think the world and atmosphere is the best part. Oddly enough, the game it reminded me most of was the original Shenmue, and how it just feels like your part of this real setting and time.

I get "Witcher in Japan" vibes from this game, which is a good thing.

It's also interesting to note that this is one of the very few samurai games not to take places during the Sengoku or Edo periods, but beforeso in the tail end of the Kamakura Period.

It looks pretty damn good. I will get it eventually. I just have too much on my back log right now.

It looks awesome. I'm just worried about how much side stuff there will be to do and how much of it will be important. I don't mind when things are a bit open. However, I prefer games that are a bit more focused and linear where I don't have to worry about exploring an open world a whole lot.
It was compared to Breath of the Wild, which is fine. I didn't finish Breath of the Wild, but what I did do was fun.
I shall watch a little bit of a walkthrough before deciding to get it.

After finishing TLOU2, FF7R and some other games it'll be fun going back to an "open world part-BOTW and part classic side-quest and objectives" style game. I haven't really played an open world game like this in a good while.

I’m pretty excited about this one. The gameplay looks so much fun, and the world looks beautiful. The main problem I’ve heard is that there’s too much to do, which does scare my “I have to finish every side quest as soon as possible” sensibilities.

The main problem I’ve heard is that there’s too much to do, which does scare my “I have to finish every side quest as soon as possible” sensibilities. It’s not only that but I heard most of it is just generic, repetitive busywork kind of side quests too. I’ve seen a lot of comparisons to the Assassin’s Creed games in terms of the kind of open world gameplay it offers, so if you like that kind of stuff then you should be fine with this game.

The game’s sounding like a Horizon: Zero Dawn like experience. Where it’s a standard open world game elevated by it’s combat and setting.

As long as I don't curse like I did Ahoy fighting those saber tooth fire tigers. I want to get it, but there's a part of me fearful that it's so close to the ps5 release we could see an upgraded edition.

Did a blind buy/pre-order of this game today due to the really good reviews. Is this going to be like Sekiro, meaning so hard that it's miserable to play?

I'm on the fence. Open world is good if thr world and side quests are good. If its fetch quests and identical villages with noyjing to discover its boring.
For me, it has to have both. Witcher had great sidequests but a boring world-- nothing exciting or cool to discover.
Hope this naios it cos it looks intetesting.
