Slide Around costs Corbin the match. Weirdly the Reach Around will get him a push.

So wait, Austin Theory was kicked out of Zelina's group and then instantly joined Seth's?
Hmm...dude is 22, he's got a good look, he can go in the ring, he's upgrading stables hmmm. I wouldn't be surprised if 3-5 years down the line that he's The Guy. He's really got a lot of the attributes they look at.

A very lackluster Raw with only the beginning & end being good, with everything in the middle not so good. Awesome promo with Edge & Randy Orton to kickoff Raw. Seth Rollinsâ promo was excellent, as was the response by Humberto Carrillo. But Carrillo VS Murphy was too short and should have been much longer. King Corbinâs segment in the back was OK, as was Liv Morganâs promo. Charlotte Flairâs promo was good, as was her match with Ruby Riott. There was no point in reliving the stupid basketball game between The Street Profits & The Viking Raiders before a stupid Axe Throwing Contest. If I want to see one, I would go to Ren Fair. Asukaâs celebration was stupid, as Nia Jaxâs promo was horrible. No one wants to see Asuka VS Jax. King Corbinâs interview was decent. R-Truthâs promo was hilarious, as usual. Truth VS Lashley was a horrible match, as was Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross VS The Iiconics. Natalya VS Shayna Baszler was a disappointing match, and I donât like Natalya being a sore loser. Asukaâs attack on Nia Jax was OK after what Nia did to Kairi Sane earlier. The return of the Kevin Owens show was good with Zelina Vega and company, setting up the tag match afterwards. Apollo Crews & Kevin Owens VS Andrade & Angel Garza was disappointing, and I think itâs too early to end the stable with the turn on Austin Theory. Drew McIntyreâs promo was really good. Aleister Black VS Murphy was another disappointing match, but I did like the angle afterward with Austin Theory, playing off of how Murphy joined Seth Rollins. I didnât like any of the crap with the Axe Throwing Contest. Apollo Crewsâ promo was really good. MVP & Bobby Lashleyâs promo was good, as McIntyre VS Lashley could be a good match at Backlash. McIntyre VS King Corbin was a really good match to close out Raw. Backlash is looking good so far.
Here are the Facts & Stats for RAW: - Humberto Carrillo VS Murphy was Murphyâs 3rd week in a row on Raw & his 1st Raw opener since March 2, Carrilloâs 3rd week in a row in the Raw opener, & the 1st time he wrestled 3 weeks in a row on Raw since December 2 to 16, 2019, & was the 3rd 1-on-1 Match between them, with their 1st match taking place on 205 Live on January 15, 2019, & their last match taking place on Main Event on April 25, so now in their 3 1-on-1 matches, Murphy has won all 3, & was Murphyâs 1st win on Raw since an 8-Man Tag on March 9, & his 1st Singles win on Raw since he defeated an Enhancement Match on December 16, 2019 - Charlotte Flair VS Ruby Riott was Flairâs 1st Raw since May 4, Riottâs 1st Raw since April 27, & was the 4th 1-on-1 Match between them, with their 1st match taking place on Smackdown on December 12, 2017, which was won by Flair by Disqualification & their last match prior to Raw taking place on Raw on March 25, 2019, which ended in a Time Limit Draw, so now in their 4 matches against each other, Flair has won 4 times, Riott has never won, & 1 match ended in a Draw - R-Truth VS Bobby Lashley was the 2nd time this year Lashley wrestled 4 weeks in a row on Raw, the 1st time since February 17 & 24 that R-Truth wrestled 2 weeks in a row, his 1st Singles Match on Raw since he lost to Lashley on February 24, their 3rd match against each other, with their last match taking place at Money In The Bank on May 10, making it the 1st match to be re-matched from Money In The Bank, so now in their 3 matches, Lashley has won all 3 matches - Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross VS The Iiconics was the 4th Womenâs Tag Team Championship Match of 2020, the 1st since Smackdown on April 24 & the 1st on Raw since The Kabuki Warriors defeated Charlotte Flair & Becky Lynch on November 8, 2019, the 1st time since August 12 & 19, 2019 that Bliss wrestled 2 weeks in a row on Raw, the 1st time since September 16 & 23, 2019 that Cross wrestled 2 weeks in a row on Raw, the 1st time since May 20 & 27 that Billie Kay & Peyton Royce wrestled 2 weeks in a row on Raw, the 1st match since Nia Jax VS Kairi Sane on April 13 & 20 to take place 2 weeks in a row on Raw, the 4th 2-on-2 Tag Team Match between them, with their 1st match taking place on Raw on June 17, 2019, which was won by The Iiconics & their last match taking place last week on Raw on May 11, 2020, so now in their 4 matches, Bliss & Cross has won 1 match & The Iiconics have won 2 matches, & was Bliss & Crossâ 3rd successful title defenses, giving them more defenses than Sasha Banks & Bayley who lost on their 2nd defense, & Bliss & Crossâ last reign had 5 defenses, was the 2nd week in a row Raw had 2 Womenâs Matches, & was the 24th Disqualification of 2020, & the 2nd week in a row on Raw - Natalya VS Shayna Baszler was the 1st Submission Match of 2020, the 1st since Becky Lynch defeated Natalya at SummerSlam on August 11, 2019, the 10th on Raw, the 1st on Raw since Kelly Kelly defeated Nikki Bella on June 27, 2011, & the 4th Womenâs Submission Match, with the other match also involving Natalya, as she lost to Charlotte Flair at Extreme Rules on May 22, 2016, therefore Natalya has competed in 3 out of the 4 Womenâs Submission Matches in WWE History, with no wins, Baszlerâs 1st ever Submission Match, Baszlerâs 2nd week in a row on Raw, the 1st time since October 28 & November 4, 2019 that Natalya wrestled 2 weeks in a row on Raw, the 1st time 2 matches took place 2 weeks in a row on Raw, & the 1st time since April 20 that Raw had 2 Womenâs Matches - Apollo Crews & Kevin Owens VS Andrade & Angel Garza was Crewsâ 1st Raw since April 27 & his 1st 2-on-2 Tag Match on Raw since he & Titus OâNeil lost to AOP on August 20, 2018, Owensâ 1st match overall since he defeated Seth Rollins at WrestleMania on April 4 & his 1st Raw since March 30, Andradeâs 2nd week in a row on Raw, & was Garzaâs 9th week in a row on Raw, giving him the 2nd most consecutive matches on Raw in 2020 after Aleister Black, who competed in 10 - Aleister Black VS Murphy was Blackâs 2nd week in a row on Raw, Murphy was the 1st wrestler since Apollo Crews & Andrade on April 27 to compete twice on Raw, & was the 4th match between them, with their 1st match taking place at TLC on December 15, 2019, & their last match taking place on Raw on January 13, with Black winning all 4 matches - Drew McIntyre VS King Corbin was McIntyreâs 3rd week in a row on Raw & 1st Raw main event since May 4, Corbinâs 1st Raw since he lost to Chad Gable by Disqualification on September 23, 2019, & the 1st time they were in the same ring on Raw since they were partners & lost to The Miz & Ricochet on August 19, 2019 - This was the 1st Raw since April 6 that Akira Tozawa didnât wrestle, ending his longest consecutive match streak at 5, & the 1st since March 30 that Cedric Alexander & Ricochet didnât wrestle, ending Alexanderâs longest consecutive match streak at 6, & the 2nd most consecutive matches for Ricochet in 2020 (wrestled 5 in a row earlier this year)

Slide Around costs Corbin the match. He tried to Bossman. Unfortunately he's no Bossman.

Despite how many of the iwc has soured on him due to his social media habbits, Seth is still proving that he should be a top guy imo.

Thank goodness King Corbin is here so I don't have to see another second of that axe-throwing segment bullshit. They just randomly insert themselves into the main event and start throwing axes all over the set and screaming like maniacs. I mean, that probably WOULD drive up the ratings if something like that happened next week.

Raw is better than Smackdown how? to me they are fundamentally the same, but SD gets a slight edge above RAW because of Otis, Elias, and lack of 3rd hour.

He has knocked this heel turn and Monday Night Messiah run out of the park. He is an amazing heel. He can dabble as a face for a minute, but it wears out its welcome... dude was born to be a dick though!

Asuka says what we were all thinking. Sorry, Kairi. THIS STORYLINE IS BREAKING MY HEEEEAAAAARRRRRTTTTT!!!!! Only a best friend would tell you how bad you are at an instrument. I hope Kairi gets more and more elaborate instruments trying to impress Asuka as the weeks go on. Then Michael Cole can say, âKAIRI AND HER BAAAAAND PERSONA!â

The rush of live thread is starting to wear off, but I still think this was better than the usual shows in past few weeks. All the hidden favourites got lots of story or character progression. Can't be angry about that!

Can't be angry about that! Agree, though I think RAW has been pretty solid to good almost every week since Drew has become champion, maybe even before too. The thing that hurts RAW is the 3rd hour and that's unfortunate imo
