Larry wrote reviews for so many years, and they were for the most part very entertaining, and he had a great online rep, I've even spoken with him a few times. Larry lost a leg in the last year or so, and was pretty much right back doing reviews shortly afterwards. He even did a review less than a day ago. He'll be sorely missed in the community.

That was his last tweet. Whatever it was that made him feel that way was what probably took him. RIP =/

This is nuts to me. Like, we talk weekly and he got me started.

This hits way too hard. I read his reviews every week. It was the main way I kept up on stuff I don't watch.

He wrote and uploaded a column last night. Whatever it was it had to be fast and sudden.

Wow this is devastating. He was pretty much the premiere wrestling reviewer, and reviewed pretty much every show in every organization. Thoughts and prayers to his family, especially his wife and kids.

Damn. Been writing about wrestling forever and always came out quick with reviews and star ratings. RIP.

This is a shock. I always liked reading Larry's writing even when I didn't agree with it. This is all so sudden and a devastating loss.
RIP Larry

Terrible news. I knew he'd been unwell (he was in hospital at the start of the year in a bad way) but had assumed since he was back to writing seemingly full time he was on the mend.

This hurts, Larry did a lot to keep my interest in wrestling alive by showing me that WWE was not the only game in town. He reviewed anything and everything he could find and it was always entertaining to read his thoughts and check out the matches he recommended. This year f***ing sucks.

I didn’t follow too much of his stuff but knew of him from the Sunday night main event program. I believe he lost his leg from a combo of accident and diabetes so it’s possible he had some complications

RIP to him. Hopefully he wasn't in a lot of pain before he passed. Random question, was he one of the American Gladiators hosts?

Guy was a pillar of wrestling reports and columns for longer than I can remember. For retro reviews and opinion pieces he was often one of my favorite writers.
RIP to a talented and diligent personality.

Nonetheless, Larry will be missed, as his writing was how many kept up with the wrestling product. RIP Larry Csonka.
