Good for her for trying to branch out and while she has become a half decent promo , no thanks.
Wallis Day is the perfect choice both because she already has experience with DCTV from Krypton , she resembles ruby rose and could actually pass as Alice's twin sister when she has her hair blonde.

I haven't seen anything about Wallis Day's sexuality outside of being a good activist for the community. WB's committed to having a queer woman in the role and for good reason.

Getting to star as Batwoman would actually benefit Sonya's wrestling career. Now she'll be considered a "real" star by Vince and co and can do part-time appearances during Wrestlemania season where she'll get the wins. I don't know dude. Remember Stephen Amell? Dude had a popular show and a totally fan for the business and Vince kind just let him have his match and left it at that.

Because if so that would have been the only reason. And as if Vince has even heard of Batwoman. Sonya has a way better chance of getting on Vince’s radar if she gets a guest spot on Xena.

Cody did a guest spot on Arrow Amell came in later and did that super hero vs villain match at Summerslam I believe. Stardust and King Barrett vs Amell and Neville if memory serves me correctly.

So it was all about Cody’s influence then, because they’re good friends. He was even in the Bullet Club.

Cody and Stephen Amell are good friends. Nocking Point, Amell's winery, even distributed Jericho's "A Little Bit Of The Bubbly" wine.

Dude leaped from the top rope through a table. During Arrow's prime years on television. Dude had zero reasons to do that besides because he could.

Casting Call sheets are asking hopefuls to audition for a character called Ryan Wilder, apparently someone who will take over the mantle {Spoiler} {Spoiler}

Casting Call sheets are asking hopefuls to audition for a character called Ryan Wilder, apparently someone who will take over the mantle {Spoiler}{Spoiler} {Spoiler}{Spoiler} ........and there goes all my enthusiasm for them continuing this show. You are a f***ing comic book show, you can make up any goddamn reason you want for a sudden change of appearance of a character and make it make sense. Some weird rememnante of Crisis, Lex Luthor managed to f*** with reality one more time, just pulled those 2 out of my ass as I typed. She got surgery for some purpose, as changing faces is a huge part of the series. There, another freebie CW. Removing Kate Kane from the show would completely kill everything they've built up thus far.

You don't even have to make up a reason for the appearance change. Hell Batman went from Keaton to Kilmer to Clooney in the same series and didn't give a second of lip service to it.

Wow did not think they would full out go replacing the actual character of Batwoman for some random , they can try and put a whole different person in the suit but if it aint Kate Kane it aint Batwoman.
I would have excused it if this was someone else from the comic who also held the mantle of Batwoman but uh can't find anyone other than Kate Kane even alternate versions are still Kate Kane.

It's so weird coming out of a production house that is typically so good about pulling characters from lore rather than making up random stuff. This is boneheaded.

If this is real, replacing Kate with a made up character is a really bad idea. Batwoman's a show built on established relationships: Kate is Batman's cousin. Alice and Kate are twin sisters. All the characters have established relationships either with Kate directly or the Wayne/Kane family. Introducing some stranger as the main character in all that makes no sense. Just recast. It happens all the time. Killing a gay Jewish character for no reason is a really bad look, too.
