It's NXT at Full Sail once again, and for the first time in over two months, there'll be people in the audience - albeit it's other wrestlers. Forum discussion rules for this show and AEW Dynamite are available on the WWE section of the board.
Timothy Thatcher betrayed Matt Riddle a couple of weeks ago, costing the Broserweights the NXT Tag Team Championship to Imperium (with Pete Dunne stuck in the UK no less), and although Riddle got a measure of revenge later that night in defeating Thatcher, a post match attack has led to Riddle seeking a fast solution to end their issues. Thatcher agreed to a match any place, any time, and Riddle took advantage of this by proposing a match much in his element, a Cage Fight. And adding to the occasion, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle will be the special referee. Will Riddle get the ultimate vengeance, or will Thatcher run the Original Bro out of Full Sail?
Adam Cole was originally going to use tonight to celebrate a year as NXT Champion (which will be on Monday), but due to the actions of Velveteen Dream, Cole has instead demanded an audience with NXT General Manager William Regal, with the intention of trying to get rid of Dream for good. Will Regal somehow approve of this suggestion, or will he overrule Cole and reward Dream for his perseverance in going after Cole's title?
Charlotte Flair will defend the NXT Women's Championship in a Triple Threat Match at NXT Takeover: In Your House on June 7th against Io Shirai and Rhea Ripley, and tonight the three of them will share the ring in tag team action, as Ripley and Shirai team up against Flair and a mystery partner. Who will agree to team with The Queen - will it be someone on the NXT roster like Dakota Kai or Chelsea Green, or will Flair dip into the main roster pool?
There's one further step towards the final for the Interim NXT Cruiserweight Championship, as Drake Maverick, Jake Atlas and Kushida all tied with a 2-1 record, with each man getting one win and one loss in the matches against each other. And of course with Maverick, it's do or die, as if he loses this one, that's the end of his WWE career. Who will get the big victory and a spot against El Hijo del Fantasma in the final?
All this and much more tonight from 8/7c on USA in the States and BT Sport in the UK and Ireland.
