That still sounds really vague too, though.
Like, was it a joke he made? Did he laugh at an inappropriate time? Was he not wearing pants?
I’m not saying what he did wasn’t likely to be bad but it still feels like there’s a big gaping hole in what happened.

Basically the same sentiment echoed by everyone who in fact leaves the company Funny how Vince will continue to blame anyone else but everytime someone leaves and gets their corporate muzzle taken off, they all say "It's YOU".

Stan Stansky should form a tag team with Pat Patterson.

Taking that tweet with the news about him 'saying things he shouldn't have' on a Zoom call and Vince being mad he'd said them, I wonder if he didn't get canned for complaining about last minute rewrites or some insane Vnice obsession he was asked to slap together.

My guess is he’s referring to the crazy hours the writers have. Bruce talks about it on his podcast from time to time but they work until then wee hours of the morning many days.

Vince is most influenced by the last person he talks to, so they could write a compelling show from top to bottom, but if someone with Vince's ear dislikes it, they'll end up rewriting it on the day of the show. You can't create anything worthwhile in that environment, you can only try to create the least worst show you can, so no wonder he got frustrated.

Vince: "Hey sing me 'Lady in Red', that's one of my favorite songs!" "I'm Chris DeJoseph, not Chris De Burgh..." Vince: "What? You're fired!"

Nice to see him be positive about Prichard, though, considering he’s now in charge of both shows.

Oh I'm sure that's a part of it, but I feel like if he's coming out of his firing saying this, his offending remark was probably related to this very thing and he's just thrown his hands up in a big 'f*** it' over the whole situation.
