I wonder if they will be hoping to do the second fyter fest on July 8 in Rochester. I say this because as of today, Rochester is allowing outdoor dining. Many places are opening back up, and our covid numbers are tremendous. Something to consider.

I imagine that for now a place like Daily's Place, with it being open air, with it being a testing area, and in Florida, will be where they have people at the shows initially. I cant imagine NY opening to closed arena shows by July. Might not be a thing for awhile.

It is 6 hours/350 miles/563 kilometers away. Our numbers here are declining rapidly. All department stores are open. So is outdoor seating. We are set to open up FULLY on July 3rd, minus a drastic setback. And if there isn’t a spike in two weeks, after a massive protest last weekend, there will be no opposition against opening up. There hardly is here now. I understand that many people think it’s too soon. As I said above, if I had to bet, the show will not happen. I just don’t think it’s a definite no go. I find it interesting that both AEW and the venue have yet to cancel/postpone the show. Why wouldn’t they if it definitely won’t happen?

My wife grew up in Rochester and I live in Albany, so I meant NY as a state. Even if it officially opens July 3rd, are they opening closed in sporting and music events? Its a wait and see thing, on why they havent canceled, I just cant imagine things going back to normal in 3 weeks. I have tix to Newark, and I just dont think sporting crowds are coming back to inclosed northeast arenas, and will most likely first come back to Florida open air locations, when they do.

According to the New York forward reopening plan, Phase 4 “will allow schools, and arts, entertainment, and recreation businesses to reopen - including theaters, movie theaters, and other entertainment venues, as well as museums and other artistic events.” Thats what is scheduled here for July 3rd.

I can see night 1 being something like this.. 1.Omega/Page vs Best Friends-Tag Titles 2.Shawn Spears vs Dustin Rhodes 3.Nyla Rose vs Shida-Womans Title 4.Matt Hardy&Private Party vs Sammy Guevara&Santana/Ortiz 5.Cody vs MJF-TNT Title Night 2 being something like this. 1.Young Bucks&FTR vs Butcher&Blade&Lucha Bros or Sabian&Havoc 2.Britt Baker vs Big Swole 3.Chris Jericho vs Orange Cassidy 4.Brodie Lee vs Colt Cabana 5.Jon Moxley vs Brian Cage-AEW Championship Lucha bros can’t be there because pentagon is still stuck on mexico so unless something changes we’re not seeing pentagon for awhile. also britt said she’s injured until all out so swole vs her can’t happen at fyter fest Meltzer mentioned on Monday Observer radio that talent should be able to travel soon. Since athletes are going to be gonna be allowed to cross-border. With NBA and MLB starting up over the next month. Some of those athletes don't live in US. So they are making excemption. So in coming weeks AEW should be able to get Pac, Dark Order and Pentagon back.

I don't think they are crazy enough to do fans this early I think Khan has gone on record saying he doesn't forsee fan talk happening until after July He's probably gonna wait and see what the NFL does, it's been strongly hinted at by reporters that almost everyone is gonna follow their lead.

I mean Florida's been going up drastically since they've started to reopen. No fans shall be a thing for a while.
Or at least they shouldn't be.

Even if Rochester is allowed to hold the show, there's still the fact that there's no way anyone is taking the risk of packing fans into an indoor arena like they were in February. I don't know how many tickets were sold relative to the size of the Rochester facility, but I'm guessing the capacity is more than enough to make social distancing not even remotely a possibility.

If they opened the whole arena, it actually worked out to be around 40-45%. Could have been interesting to try, albeit a logistical nightmare. Alas, the show is postponed till November. Sad.
