I'm interested by Nyla having an announcement of some kind. She has been sort of conspicuous in her absence since losing the title and beating Big Swole a bit back. I'm low key hoping it's a debut of some sort, just because AEW keeps having problems with being short of women and getting into repetitive loops with the matchups; if it's not a debut, I just hope it is good news of some sort. Sucks that the clear plan was for Nyla to face Kris one more time but she tore her ACL.

Yeah, doubt Mox is competing. Hopefully Mox is ok and Cage faces someone (who’s left?? What’s Jeff Cobb up to??) and that title match eventually happens. Only person I can think of is Dustin

The question is if Mox can't compete, do they strip him of the belt so Cage can fight someone for it night 2? Like the winner of Cassidy/Jericho even?
They need to have a world title match night 2, it's the entire draw of night 2 since they put all three other title matches on night 1
This is a fine kettle of fish to be in but AEW's been really good at audibles in the past if forced to make one, I guess we'll know by next week.

Even if it means Cage is demoted to an undercard match, I have a feeling that NXT could benefit from Moxley not competing on night two as NXT has a big championship match on July 8, WWE might as well make NXT Great American bash a two night event

Card subject to change after all.

Screw it, if Mox can’t make it have Cage and Taz come out and run him down Then, have Ricky Starks come out and say he’ll take them on. Makes Starks look good even though he’ll surely be crushed.

With the spiking of cases, they gotta get out of Florida after this. Staying there is like being in Hiroshima before Little Boy dropped

It would suck if Moxley can't compete. They taped night 1 on Fri and ate planning on taping night 2 next week.

Might bring Darby back early for a non-sanctioned match against Cage. Doesn't Darby got accusations against him? They were pretty vague though, currently they've gone nowhere, wondering if there's a reason for that.

They shouldn’t strip him of the title, it’s not an actual PPV so if you have to audible, have Omega fight Cage in a banger or something. Or have Cody defend against a top contender.

Even without the accusation, Darby's still injured so he's not an option.
As for Mox, he's taking all the precautions he can without risking exposure to others. I think there's a chance he shows up for Night 2 if he tests negative with the more accurate test. I'm more concerned about him testing positive than if he can defend against Cage. Fyter Fest isn't a PPV and his defense against Cage can be delayed.

Yeah, whatever the state of him is, Darby's got the "I am not medically cleared" storyline. I assume they're also probably doing some fashion of internal investigation, too, with the accusation(s), so I doubt that'd be sorted by the time of Fyter Fest, anyway.
I am guessing that if Moxley can't come in, they give more time to other matches and give Cage someone like Billy or Dustin or something to wrestle, someone popular who has some credibility, but it's also fine if they take some losses, and just have a different match go on last.

If they lose the tag titles on night one, maybe a Cage/Omega/Page three way for the interim championship? If Mox has covid, there's no telling how long he'll be out. Doesn't have to end clean either, you could have a vacant title and another match for it down the line.

Doesn't have to end clean either, you could have a vacant title and another match for it down the line. Ideas for Interim title at this point are silly. If Mox is out still a month from now then we can start talking stuff like that. As of last report Moxley didn't even have the virus. And even if he does get it. There's no telling if he will be perfectly fine with mild case of it. Or if it will hit him really bad or not. It's way too unknown of a thing. If he test negative all the way to Thursday the plans still plan for him to wrestle at Fyter Fest. While even of he test positive for it. He could be perfectly fine come July 15th. So let's see how he's doing say going into July 29th taping. If he's still sick with no return in sight. Well then we can discuss stripping him of titles or doing silly things like Impact doing with different champion. As for Omega/Page they likely won't drop tag titles to All Out or Full Gear. My guess is they will wanna do Omega/Page vs FTR at Full Gear. My guess is Dark Order will fail to win tag titles post Fyter Fest. This will anger Mr Brodie Lee and he will try to show Evil Uno&Stu Grayson how its done. Which will lead to Brodie Lee/Colt Cabana taking on Omega/Page at All Out.
