Been thinking about how many times Davey Boy Smith ended up losing to Shawn Michaels in high-profile situations over the years with no wins (IC title in 1992, Royal Rumble in '95, tag titles in '95, world title feud in '96, tag titles in '97, European title in Manchester in '97). Did anyone else have that same kind of awful, one-sided record against a single opponent? I feel like Jericho against Triple H is up there, and Savage against Hogan (did Savage ever pin him in WCW?). Who else comes to mind? Shawn also pinned Davey on Raw in early 95 at a time when heels rarely pinned faces on tv. I remember that. I think Sid interfered for Shawn.

That was that year Randy Orton beat Christian everytime they wrestled, with Christian's only win being by DQ.
Granted, I'm not knocking it. It's one of my favourite feuds.

While there's only a couple dozen of their matches documented at places like wrestlingdata, etc, it's been estimated Jimmy Snuka and Metal Maniac probably had over a hundred matches against one another between '92 and '97 on the indie circuit. And Maniac lost all but one of those; and *that* was a tag match in which his partner pinned Snuka's partner. Wasn't it Metal Maniac's job to drive SNuka to every show? Heard that from I think Dusty Wolfe, might have been some other guy, years ago.

As great as this feud was and that it also elevated Austin, did he ever beat Bret Hart?

I think Austin had a DQ win against Bret, but Bret won the key matches on key shows (Survivor Series '96 and Mania 13).

Bray Wyatt always beat Dean Ambrose in their feud. I think Dean may have got one win in on Tribute to the Troops maybe but that was it.
Also I don’t remember Miz getting a win over Shane in their feud last year.

Taker only has beaten Brock ONCE. The only other time he didn't lose was a No Contest in there first meeting.

Chris Jericho defeated Triple H exactly once, on a 2002 Smackdown after Hulk Hogan interfered so you can guess how much focus was on Jericho.

God help Suzuki whenever he ends up in a tournament match against Yano.

That was the Revenge of the Taker IYH match after WM13 It just sort of ended without a winner being declared, but Austin clearly won the streetfight the next night on Raw as well. A bunch of refs had to drag him off Hart after Austin him in the sharpshooter for several minutes.

Rock only ever pinned Stone Cold twice, and only once in a singles match. On PPV their singles record is 5 wins for Stone Cold and 1 for Rock, plus Austin pinned Rock in a singles match on the Raw before Mania 14. One of the all time greatest rivalries in wrestling and it's actually pretty one sided. Austin eliminated him to win the 1998 Royal Rumble too.

Does Taker beating Hogan count? Tuesday in Texas not withstanding, Taker has taken two world titles off Hogan in two decades.

Fair enough. I was reaching anyway. Warrior vs. Andre. The one Warrior loss on an Italian houseshow probably doesn't count as the American tours and TV tapings serve as "canon"

Didn't Asuka beat Charlotte and Becky in a ladder match or something like that? I remember her besting Charlotte at least once on that front, plus title defenses with the Kabuki Warriors. It's still stacked more in Charlotte's corner overall, probably, but Asuka has definitely beat Charlotte a few times, so she's doing better on that front than most of these. Technically she has beaten Charlotte but not in a one on one Kabuki Warriors beat Charlotte and Becky twice this year I believe. One in a tag when Asuka pinned Becky after misting her I remember correctly and the other was at TLC Asuka beat Becky and Charlottein 2018 in the ladder match Asuka actually did beat Charlotte once one on one. On the post Survivor Series Raw she pinned her in a singles match after blinding her with the mist. Looking back it is surprising how dominant the Kabuki Warriors were in that feud against Charlotte and Becky who were being booked like the Hogan and Warrior of women's wrestling with how ridiculously protected they both were and how both were presented as being so much above everyone else in the division. In November-December they swept them three straight in tag matches (twice on Raw and then the TLC match), Asuka beat Charlotte in a single match, and then they both beat Charlotte in a handicap. They did lose by DQ in another handicap match against Becky which I remember had a lot of people raging about how Becky couldn't even job in a handicap match although too be fair she did actually eat the pin in both of the tag losses (Kairi pinning her in the first and Asuka pinning her in the second).
