Took a road trip to Ocean Beach (San Diego) and got burgers at Hodad’s and bought some shirts from Wing’s.

Hit 95000 words written on my NaNoWriMo project tonight. My goal is 100K words, and I'll hit that tomorrow, so I'll have time to write the planned 3000 word epilogue and completely finish the story after Raw Monday.

A racing driver called Romain Grosjean coming out of a very nasty crash with ‘just’ burns and a broken rib. The car tore in two and exploded, so the alternative was a far worse outcome.

I remembered my Spotify password and have access to my songs again. It’s only been a week or so without, but I honestly can’t begin to describe how happy I am.

I FINALLY started watching the English commentary World Tag League/BOSJ. I'm only halfway through the first show, but if the rest are gonna be the length of the G1 Climax shows, I should be able to knock out one a day until I'm caught up.

I got to talk my cousin for the first time in months Thursday. We chopped it up right and I bought Christmas presents for her and her cat.

The wife and I came up with a plan for New Years. The past few years we have gone to our local bowling alley where they do “cosmic” bowling and Christmas music and decorations and refreshments and a countdown. With the pandemic, the bowling alleys are all closed.
I went to Dollar Tree today and bought a bunch of black light bulbs and decorations that will glow and setting the Wii up in the den. We can have our own Wii cosmic bowling tournament with snacks and everything. F**k Covid.

Knowing I actually have time off at xmas this year which I haven't in 20 years. Not much of a Christmas person and we'll can't really go anywhere this year but still nice to have 5 days off around the holidays for Santa's bday.

Seeing a real life robin - and being able to get a photo of it - when walking my dog in woods today.
EDIT - An underrated racing driver - Sergio Perez - also won his first ever race today.

Had a laugh today...
Phone system at work is moving from old lines to VOIP, been a PITA to set up and coordinate with 'nationwide telephone company' but it's happening, slowly.
Today we come across an issue that the guy helping us doesn't know how to solve, so he gives me a toll-free number to call for a different division of tech support.
I call the number and get "Hey guys! Are you ready to talk to some hot girls just WAITING for some fun?"
Hung up, called the number back in case I misdialled... same voice message.
Hung up, told co-worker to call the number... big laugh.
Turns out the number the tech gave me was off, the number he gave was an 888- and the number it was supposed to be was 844-, the rest of the numbers were correct.

My work sent out Christmas boxes to all the employees. We got a fuzzy blanket, some Swedish Fish and Starbursts, some cloth masks with the company logo, and a scratch off that could win us a $20 gift card......and my scratch off was a winner.

My wife used her DoorDash account to get something local for dinner. My dinner was a 12-inch King Beefinator: basically an Italian beef sandwich with bell pepper chunks. Was so big I couldn’t begin to figure out how to grab hold of it. It was so yum. (Gave half to my son, was too much to eat before work.)
(She said "I chose this place because why use that to get McDonald's? I'm supporting local business. Besides, in the 20 years we've lived here, we never went there." LOL
