Spending all day outside. Planning where and what to plant with our daughter - her cat passed away after 11 years (half my daughter's life, she was there at birth and death) and we want to make a garden for her. Getting sun, got the dogs out, found an old Tigers-White Sox game from 1980 and playing that. Didn't do much of anything but relax.

Besides that sounds like a nice day. The thing that made me smile huge today was when I got up and my dog discovered "Hey i'm not alone in the house". She ran off got her captain caveman toy. Then ran circles around my feet. Dropped the toy on my foot. Ran to the living room jumped up into her chair and kept barking. As if she was telling me "Ok you are awake come in her and watch TV with me." The rest of the day was downhill from there sadly. Oh well can't really appreciate the good days if you don't have some bad ones.

I went for a walk on the beach with my son this afternoon. A great big dog goes galumphing past us up the beach. It gets about 50 feet past us, skids to a stop, and turns and charges straight at us. It skids to a halt in front of us, drops a ball at my feet, and looks up expectantly. “Throw it!” comes a voice from behind me. I look over my shoulder and see the dog’s owner making throwing motions. I pick up the ball and chuck it down the beach and the dog takes off like a shot. It catches the ball and runs down the beach to continue the game with the next person it finds. Pure joy.

Received my Alexa/Fiend shirt and Liv shirt today. Then find out when trying them on that the Liv shirt is a ''Youth'' shirt and is too small for me

I tweeted that my husband is pretty much an Adam Pearce superfan. And, Adam Pearce liked it.
Also, bringing back the Big Show pics and gifs thread.

Rewatched Gargano/Ciampa from Takeover New Orleans. I was there live and had never seen the broadcast version. Brought back lots of good memories from a fun weekend.

A problem that's been a huge PITA at work appears to be solved...
Last year 'work' changed from phone lines to VOIP, took a while to get things to work properly but it did. A couple months ago we got a new press that connects to the network, and since that got hooked up our phones started acting up (calls dropping, some phones wouldn't ring, etc.).
We finally figured out that the IP address the service tech set for the press was already assigned to the 'box' for our VOIP system. We were peeved because the IP for the press wasn't the one that WE TOLD the service tech to set it to.
But now that it's changed, the phones start working properly again.

Same beach, different dog. This was more of a grey and white hunting dog who ran up to me with a piece of driftwood and dropped it at my feet. We played fetch eight or ten times and it ran off down the beach. The dogs in this town are so friendly.

After weeks of riding with my mom while she drove post brain surgery but more often than not just chauffeuring her around, and after some coaxing from her doctor, I gave mom her keys back and told her have at it by herself. She drove herself to the store, did her grocery shopping, gassed up her car, etc. all fine. I went over to her house after she got back and checked her car, no paint scrapes, no people pinned underneath, so I'd say it was a success.
I know it is just me being overprotective, but it was really tough for me to give up that control. She's almost three months post brain surgery and has passed every test and her doctor even told me that it was her professional opinion based on the test results that she would be fine driving by herself, but it was a big hurdle for me to overcome.

Because I didn't spend any money for so long, Discover card is rewarding me by refunding the 200 dollar deposit on my secured card. And I'm getting a credit limit of 1,000 bucks. Which works really well for anime conventions because I hate how hotels will freeze my debit card for the duration of my stay.

Got my first shot on Friday and all I got was a sore arm and that's already back to 100% now. Getting my second shot at the end of the month. Also going to visit the fam at the end of the week for the first time in like 4 months and trying to get a get together with some college friends in June once everyone gets their shots.
