Don't know how many boxing fans we have, but it's back! Last week, ESPN put on two shows. That will be the case for the next few weeks.
Last week's shows were met with a lot of mixed feelings. I think most fans were happy to see boxing back, but the cards were quite lacking. I really enjoyed the presentation of it all, though.
Tonight we have...
June 16: Las Vegas (ESPN)
Joshua Greer Jr. vs. Mike Plania, 10 rounds, bantamweights
Giovani Santillan vs. Antonio DeMarco, 10 rounds, welterweights
Nikoloz Sekhniashvili vs. Isiah Jones, 6 rounds, super middleweights
Bobirzhan Mominov vs. Cameron Krael, 8 rounds, welterweights
Hector Perez vs. Juan Torres, 6 rounds, heavyweights

Well...that’s why you don’t assume. Plania got in the way of the Greer, Jr. hype train.

Sucks about the main event tonight. I was digging LesPierre's story going into the fight.

I should really start watching these weekly shows on TSN, I love boxing but I generally only watch a few big fights a year. Doesn't help that none of my friends give a shit about boxing, nobody wants to get together for fights.
EDIT: But they'll watch MMA and wrestling all the time. I can't figure out why boxing is such a hard sell now

I can't figure out why boxing is such a hard sell now I only know one person who watches wrestling, but he’s kind of all over the place. I have no one for MMA and boxing. Thank god for this forum! These weekly shows have been ok. I feel like last Tuesday’s show had the best action and it’s been relatively blah since. However, I’m still enjoying it after a few months with nothing.

It is borderline criminal ESPN has Max Kellerman and don't have him hyping the shit out of these boxing matches

That man can make stars Add on that you got people like Andre Ward and Timothy Bradley on your payroll, no f***ing way should boxing not be on its way up with those 3 mind talking boxing. I don't want to hear old ass Teddy Atlas anymore and Stephen A needs to stay away from boxing and MMA

I mean i'd be down for that. Have him release podcast for upcoming boxing bouts or at the very least he should have his own radio show (which I don't think he has) but Will Cain has one

Man...that stoppage for the Aguilar win seemed super quick. But Jardon didn't argue it at all, so what do I know?

Well...Berchelt took care of business - to no one's surprise. His punches looked good, but I'm surprised the fight went as long as it did.
